It's a beautiful spot for walks, picnics and/or some quiet time away from the busy world. It needed a good tidy up also mowing the days I was there but still well worth a visit. Beautiful trees and lots of birds, duck, pelicans etc.

Quiet area. Filled up caravan with water. Rang council, they said, it was ok to do that. Very nice large skate park

Lake Inverell / Barayamal National Park is my favourite location for bird photography. Great mix of woodland and waterbirds.
