My child has been attending classes for a year. Lilian is a very patient and experienced teacher. We are very glad to have her as the teacher. The business is covid-19 safe and ensured the students' safety.

Attending CMA Mental Arithmetic has been one of the best things we've done for our son. He started in kindy. We've seen him progress over 3 years and really benefit from the creative approach to math and using the abacus - he can do mental maths faster than me now. My father was an expert in using the abacus and that is why we started. Lilian and Ben are passionate and committed to teaching the kids. We continued the lessons on Zoom right through the Covid-19 lockdown, and the teaching methodology was fascinating. Highly recommended!

They talk to you and follow up on your child’s progress making the whole learning experience feels tailored which is a rare find!Our children are not natural born mathematicians however always come out of class jumping into the car happy and relaxed; school mathematics assignments become a breeze; which tells a lot about the amount of effort and the level of encouragement Mr Benson and Ms Lilian put in! Into our 5th year with CMA Chatswood now and we thank them a million beads!

CMA is an incredibly nurturing environment with phenomenal learning outcomes. My year 2 son started at CMA in kindy and has never looked back. His love and confidence for maths has flourished and he has received Outstanding for maths consistently in report cards since beginning with CMA. We cannot believe the work he is doing as such a young age! Not only that he is loving it, and his concentration for homework is definitely a sign that he is enjoying such incredible results. He always comes out of lessons with a big smile and is so proud of his maths school report this semester. We stared our younger son in the preschool classes last year and he is following in his big brothers footsteps - we couldn’t be happier. I have no doubt this is setting them up for an incredible life long love and confidence for maths. Thank you CMA we are so lucky to have found you.

I can see the difference in my son after 1 term. He can do more difficult questions even without being prompted on how to do it. Lilian did such a great job with my son. Totally recommended.

Very competent teachers. Varied class that frequently moves from one focus to another to keep the attention of kids the duration of the lesson. Best measures I’ve seen in place to prevent the spread of covid 19. My only recommendation would be to assign less homework.

Our 8 year-old son has been attending CMA for 2,5 years. We can justify that learning mental arithmetic has given our son a head start not only in mathematics overall but in all other subjects as well. It teaches concentration, focus, discipline and visualization. He is in currently in Grade 2 and can do complex calculations faster than any ordinary adult. In his math speed tests at school he is always the first. We can see that excelling in school gives him confidence and respect from peers. Highly recommend.

Lilian and Benson are great teachers and very patient with kids. All my kids started abacus from Year 1, and they are in senior primary now, found it extremely helpful with their maths. Highly recommended!
