The Wilderness Chef

Cooper and his team are absolute pros! They catered for our small wedding of 26 people, serving canapes, banquet style main course and dessert platters. The food was incredibly delicious, their service and presentation was immaculate and they were just really down to earth, friendly people who went above and beyond to make our special day amazing (even putting some canapes aside so that we, the bride and groom, didn't miss out while we were away getting some photos)! All our guests were so impressed with the food. They paid special attention to our coeliac guest ensuring she had the right food and enough of it and even catered for the 10 kids in our group who all loved their food! Booking and communication was easy and the payment system was user-friendly. Can't recommend The Wilderness Chef more highly. Thanks for an awesome experience!!

We had the Wilderness Chef cater my birthday dinner at our home and we couldn't recommend Cooper and his team more! It was super easy to communicate with and organise the event with Cooper and receiving a call a few days out from James to fine tune the menu was a breeze. We had 3x dietary requirements to cater for but this was no trouble for James. James was super friendly on the night, the food was AMAZING and James left our kitchen absolutely spotless! A huge thanks to the Wilderness Chef for making my birthday so enjoyable! My whole family haven't stopped talking about how good the food was! We can't wait to organise another event with you guys soon!

Some of the BEST food and service I have received when it comes to food. The team at The Wilderness Chef have catered my past 2 workshops and the experience they provide was incredible. Full of life with a happy bubbly personalities to go along with the day. I recommend their team to all my couples planning a wedding, if they're needing a catering team as I would not have anyone else do my own! Always such a pleasure working with them.

We recently booked the Wilderness Chef to cater our wedding and the food looked and tasted incredible! The company was very professional and took the time to explain all of the dishes to our guests as they were being served. We had so many wonderful compliments on the food. The chefs were friendly, adapted to the on site kitchen with no fuss and served up fantastic food whilst chatting with guests and answering questions about the menu and preparation.The Wilderness Chef came recommended by the premises we were renting and we're so glad they made the recommendation. The Wilderness Chef catered for my best friend's wedding, and it was by far the BEST food I've ever experienced (and I've enjoyed plenty of catering/fancy dinners in my life!!). This food is the most beautiful, wholesome, flavorsome food I've ever had (no lie!). I haven't stopped thinking about this catering, and how and when I can taste it again. This team truly cook with unbelievable talent and passion, and it's so impressive how they catered this event with no proper kitchen available. VERY highly recommend!

We can’t begin to put into words what Cooper’s food meant for our special day. We eloped on a property in the Hunter with only 6 guests and were determined to have an intimate reception option and not go dining at a local winery. I somehow found Cooper who was offering food to suit our personalities and tastes, a little bit custom compared to a lot of the other “private chef” services around. Cooper was incredible from start to finish, answering my endless questions back and forth, to just being an all round beautiful guy on the day of. He really delivered on the menu and it gave us so much joy to see our nearest and dearest enjoy the food to the degree they did. This was the highlight of the day for us!

Amazing experience from start to finish. Cooper was fantastic and our chef James was amazing. Food was 20 out of 20. Generous serves, dietary requirements was no issues and the food was delectable and delicious. What a fabulous way to celebrate our 40ths. Cannot recommend enough. Thank you Cooper and James ❤️

We had the most amazing experience with the wilderness chef and the team on our wedding day. The food was beyond our expectations. AllOf our guests we’re delighted with everything. They are still talking about the taste, the flavours and how much food we had. It was lovely to see the team in action as they prepared our canapés and mains in the kitchen. cooper made sure I was well looked after as the bride! We would not hesitate to recommend theses guys for any event and will definitely use them again!
