My family and I visit every year. I would like there to be a little more for young children to do. For adults this is a great day out. I like the blacksmith work and display battles the best.

Balingup Medieval Carnivale Site
We had a great day, very well organised event. It was fabulous how so many people dressed up for the Carnivale,you could also hire costumes if so inclined. The sword fighting, horse back archery, blacksmiths and medieval displays were entertaining and interesting. There was a vast array of quality food available and vendors selling all types of fare. A credit to the organisers and the town for a great event.

People from all walks of life. Some dressed up, others didn't. Well done to the family with children, who took the time to dress up from the oldest to the youngest. All were well behaved. Well organized, there was something to watch at all times. Great variety of stalls. I didn't find any pushy sellers. Food queues were so long due to unexpected numbers. I think we heard nearly 2000 extra people turned up on the day. Hopefully, the food could be spread out a little more. Well worth the trip. Looking forward to next year.

Parking was nearly impossible. I'm assuming because they only had one day of festival rather than the usual two so everyone went at the same time. Although there were extremely long queues they moved quite quickly. The vibe is always good but the stalls were sparse in comparison to previous years. Hopefully in the post covid years it will return to its former glory. Still worth the trip and a fun day out.

Not enough toilets for the huge crowd of people attending. What the heck happened to the dragon burning this year? Night event was boring. Left early. Not enough food vendors and they were too close together, Needs to be a few vendors with drinks only. Couldn't even get water without standing in a long line. Very disappointing for 2022!

Once a year event well worth visit goes for two days saturday nite they burn the dragon dress up and have fun
