SunBoost - Solar Panel Installation Company

Would not do as on third floor apartment with strata approved. Want to charge same price for wiring as putting in solar. Saying do not want to do. To hard basket. Wonder if it was a three floor single apartment if cost double ????

Bad customer service call service based in IndiaDon’t call backOur panels were not straight and brackets were bent that hold the panelsThe installers were rude and not deal with u unless you go via the call center had to threaten to take them to the ombudsman then that’s when they started working would not recommend them to anyone.We are still waiting for someone to come and check our panels and brackets it’s now been 2 weeks have send heaps of emails to Daniel and phones calls with no reply he has the worst customer service and tells us lies.Sun boost you need to finish a job before going to another job and the customer is always right next consumer business affairs our job tax invoice number is 62071 09/10/18 they finished still waiting and yet they take your money before the job is finished will not be telling friends and family to go through you.

Rudest and most illiterate sales team I have ever dealt with. Don't return calls and also hang up in your ear. Also a pack of thieves keeping deposit for no valid reason when they were the ones to cancel a contract due to price increase after signing up. Would never recommend and in fact are probably the worst company I have ever dealt with

Really really bad company. Look for other companies. After and before Customer Service is bad.1.Because of their mistake, I couldn't get my solar panels installed on my roof. I specifically told them in writing that I have hot water storage system on my roof which uses electricity at night at cheaper rate. Still they have sent some one to my home with wrong smart meter to upgrade. Because of this I have to wait another one month so they can get the right meter.2. My home internet was not able to connect to solar wifi. To get this fix I have spent 25 hours over the phone in 6 months with them. When I ask them to send someone home to fix this they wanted to charge me 270 AUD. Than I have fixed it by my self by deleting space between my home internet name.3. In the beginning of the deal they told me that on my roof looking at the gmap they can fix 22 panels but when I paid for it than they were able to install only 16. So again I have to wait for another technician to come out and than also he could fix only 20 panels. When I ask for refund for two panels they said it was free any how.4. So instead of making money out of my solar panels for 2 months I have to pay for 2 months to my electricity provider.

This company is not worth 1 star! Don’t use them. We paid $8,800 & found their rep, ‘Daniel’, arrogant, deceitful & rude with limited people skills especially when we voiced concerns; on several occasions, he didn’t listen, raised his voice & talked over the top of us. Last week, we thought he’d hung up on us during the conversation because he gave no response for a long time. Communication was extremely poor & we were given dates for installation which didn’t eventuate (without notice). We were provided with no instructions at all & received a huge electricity bill 3 months after installation because no solar power had been imported (as reported by our electricity provider). On a positive note, the local installers (in Australia) were very good. In summary, dreadful, expensive experience ; hopefully we won’t need them again!

I wouldn't recommend. After finally deciding to go with this company the installer tells us that there is a problem with shadowing and capacity would be reduced to 50-60%, even though sales staff told us that it would be ok. The installer was incredibly helpful and offered solutions and offered to install an extra 2 panels because there was space and it would help compensate for the shadow. We had to pay for the extra panels too! Received after sales call and all they were interested in was the approach by the staff. I tried to tell them about the issue and this was dismissed. They offered a $100 for referring the company. The sales staff were fine but a little pushy...clearly on commission. I wouldn't recommend.Edit - they also assume customers understand all parts of the process and didn't explain we need to contact someone to have the electricity metre changed so solar credits can be captured.There is a lot of assumptions made by this company.You get what you pay for! Budget prices, budget company!

Beware people. this company protrays itself as a traditional Aussie company in it’s advertising, however it is far from it. I honestly wouldn’t sign up with them. Poor customer service. Daniel and robert are arrogant, rude and don’t respond to emails. I found Daniel difficult to get a hold of and to deal with.I paid a deposit on 30 june 19 and after waiting over 3 months with no progress I asked for a refund on 9 October. Robert still hasn’t responded to any email messages or sms. Next step is the ombudsman!!

Horrific company. Honestly don’t do it, I repeat do not waste your time with these guys. You will be left in the dark for weeks without returning calls. Promises that will never be met, and you’ll end up loosing the deposit. Seriously, take this as a warning before you call.All you have to do is scroll down to see everyone giving them one star.

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE.At this point in time I have no issue with the product or the tradies that installed my system BUT that's where it ends. Customer service is extremely poor. Trevor promised me the best customer service (really) until I paid my deposit and then he lost interest (Not surprised this is my experience with many businesses these days) And they are very aggressive in ensuring payment is made prior to installation.(Daniel) BUT I did not pay until it was installed. They also offer referral bonuses. I advised them on 3 occasions that another Sunboost customer had been instrumental in me deciding to go with Sunboost. Trevor said the referrer would get $100 but 10 weeks later still no referral bonus and Trevor has not responded to phone calls or emails. Don't have any confidence in support if system fails. Buyer beware!!!!
