Sydney Tools Wollongong

Purchased $1500 worth of Milwaukee in a sale where you get the bonus credits for spending so much. Click and collect which said in stock. No contact from store so I called a few days later. Staff told me it won’t be longer then a week, still no contact so I called again. Still not in stock then no contact for another 2 weeks which I had to call again & then it was waiting for me but they never thought to ring. Then go in store to pickup and claim bonus credits & staff say ‘bonus points expire in 2 weeks, nothing I can do about it’. I wasn’t told once when I called the points will expire. Contacted online support and they said that the store would be in contact to sort it out. Still no contact a week later. Back to total tools it is, better service that’s for sure

A great selection of tools but sadly their policy when not in stock is to take your money then order. The online system will not clarify this but will take your money and THEN order, possibly never delivering your products. Don’t risk online ordering through these guys, only buy what you know is in stock. First hand knowledge when it took over a year and my constant follow up before SydneyTools delivered $1k of goods.

The team at the Wollongong William R and Joel were great. Very informative and took the time to explain everything. Thanks guys I’ll be back for sure.

Mitchell at Sydney tools went above and beyond today helping re-tap a stripped thread on my Isuzu truck. Wow!! More than just another tool shop, these guys know what they are doing..Mitch is a qualified mechanic that is too eager to assist…Highly recommend this shop..

Went in to buy a tool box/trolley for my son to start his mechanics career, the service was excellent. I couldn't quite fit the trolley in my boot and the sales guy (I think his name was Mitch??) Offered to drop it off after he had finished work as he lived in the same area as I do.Absolute legend and is worth more money!!

Bought a Makita tool in Feb that didn't work. They've tried to fix it a few times, however it's been months and is now June. I've had to but the same tool again (different brand) so I can get work done, but still they have not refunded me as the item is still with the Makita. Store manager refuses to understand consumer law and give a refund. At Bunnings they would get you a refund or replacement on the spot. But here we are still waiting for Makita (who they decided to send it to / not me) and tell me I can;t have my money back. Terrible corporate behavior. If your tool works, then great, but don't expect much service or a refund if there's an issue. It's been another week since the manager said the item would be returned, but I hear nothing. Just terrible customer service. I've spent thousands here and this is not what I expected.

Hi,would like to praise Hayden and Mitchell from this store.Their customer relations, great manners and enthusiasm to help.Hayden went to no end of trouble to locate a certain toolbox. Will be certainly going there more often.Well done fellas.

Hands down the worst Sydney tools in NSW. Nothing but poor performances by management at this store.No organisation, poor customer relations.Make purchasing and warranty an absolute hassle.Will not be returning.
