Birali Steiner School

Our vision is to educate the whole child, head, heart and hands.As a school, we believe that academia is best approached holistically. This style of education creates a lifelong love of learning with a curriculum responsive to the developmental phases in childhood.By building a Steiner School in the Moreton Bay area we aim to service Caboolture and surrounding suburbs, but our catchment area also reaches as far north as Caloundra and stretches south to Clontarf.It is our Vision to build a Steiner School that will set a positive foundation for a purposeful and productive adulthood and encourage productive community members of the future.My family moved to Beachmere specifically so that our children had the opportunity to attend this beautiful school with a focus on holistic, creative learning that will provide life long benefits in confidence, capability and a positive contribution to society.

My son started Prep in 2022. The school faced challenges, like everyone, throughout the height of the Covid pandemic but is marching forward strongly, with their families and community by their side.The school, staff, and other families are like our extended family and second home. The sense of belonging and community we feel is like a weight off our shoulders. This school is so much more than just a school".Highly recommend to all I know. I would highly recommend this school to everyone who understands the whole-child learning approach, and urge those who don't to consider this for their children's education as it moves so fast.We have been at Birali for about 6 months now after moving away from the state system and have breathed a sigh of relief to have found a community within the school that is welcoming, enthusiastic and have the same belief systems around how we can teach our children to be wholesome, well-rounded and strong women as they grow up.We relocated to be here and I am so glad we as a family did it. The school has been through a huge and exciting transition from a small building 7 months ago to a purpose built facility with plenty of scope for growth to 'spread it's wings' and I am so pleased that my girls will experience this pioneering school.I know that the families and Birali team will make this journey fulfilling for all.

If I could give it a minus I would, I have emails from the where they out right refuse to answer questions about my son's welfare.They cover up instances of misconduct and abuse.I have it in writing that the schools stance is only about my sons academic learning and actively refuses to discuss the children's holistic wellbeing.They clearly do not have the Childs best interests at heart.

My children have gone to this school since kindergarten and they love it.

After homeschooling my daughter for a few years, I decided it was time to send her to school. I wanted to find a school that was in line with my philosophies regarding child learning. I attended tours of a couple of schools and was very drawn to Birali Steiner. The principal and staff are lovely, and my daughter's teacher is exceptional. She absolutely loves going to school each day!
