Especially fish tacos is delicious and quite big and worthy! The skin is crispy!The fish is juicy & fluffy!Let’s dine in! Its more fresher than takeaway!

Don't trust the great reviews you read here. I tried it and it was far from good. The chilli mussels we ordered were overly salty, had an Asian spice to it (not authentic), had very small meat (way below average) and most importantly, they were not fresh with about 30-40% rotten, the taste was horrible! The extra spice, heat and salt could be an attempt to cover the rotting raw ingredients. The seafood chowder was okay but also too saltish. The service was okay but without any smile or keenness. It's a pity as the location and ambient were great. As a seafood business, freshness is key. We did had a little bit of stomach upset in the night but thankfully not serious. I wouldn't return and wouldn't recommend you risk it. The restaurant may have a good run in the past maybe but for now, it deserves a health inspection. The poor crowd is a good indication of local public approval.

Made reservation for lunch. Took Uber here. Closed. We walked around for awhile and someone finally came and opened. I tried to order beer. Nope. Out. We ordered calamari, fish and chips, and oysters. The oysters were tiny but OK. The fish was flaky and tender and tasted good. The chips were OK. The calamari was very tender.

The chips were great. Good texture and very tasty.However, the oil on my fish batter tasted a little stale. The tables can do with better cleaning. It felt sticky.Although only 2 tables were occupied, it took over 15 minutes to get our meals ready.

We came here for Sunday lunch and ordered the salt n pepper squid for starters and hubby and I both ordered the barramundi with chips. He had a G n W crispy batter and I had mine grilled with Cajun seasoning. When our barramundi came out, his fillet was almost twice the size of mine (see photos 3 and 4). Considering we ordered the exact same dish except for the way it was cooked, we were disappointed in what we got. The salt n pepper squid was ok, the batter was a bit oily. Overall, not as good as our previous experience.Delicious grilled barramundi with Cajun seasoning, awesome chips. Also garlic prawns were the best I've had in a long time. Battered barramundi with chips was also very good. Will come back again when next in the area.

Not your typical F&C shop. Much more up market and located in the shadow of David Jones in the Claremont Quarter! Nautical-inspired decorations adorn the walls and ceilings with blue epoxy inlays on the tabletops looking like bits of the blue sea trapped in the timber top. The Restaurant is licensed to serve alcohol and serves a very decent white wine to accompany the seafood platters we ordered forour table of four. Love the light fluffy batter and freshness of the fish and squid rings. Great restaurant will definitely re visit.

A bit disappointed with the Fish and Chips the chips were not crispy, the fish was alright. The Seafood chowder was good with a lot of seafood, but the service was very slow, it took them about 30 minutes to service the dishes, the place wasn't even busy. I think they were very short of staff.

Wife ordered 2 fish and chips to be delivered thru uber eats. The food arrived cold and was missing1 fish and chips. Chips were soggy fish sub par. When we called about the failure to put in the second fish and chips we were told to refund thru uber eats and then order another, which incurs another delivery fee. This place has horrible food and hopeless service avoid at all costs.

We passed by here on a whim and we were so happy we went in! My food was cooked to perfection and my partner enjoyed his fish and chips as well. It was a lovely quiet shop out the way of the hustle and bustle. The chips were amazing - nice and crispy.
