One of my friend recommended me this restaurant, I went there few times in last two months, I'm amazed by the quality of food, it's tasty, and authentic. I can say southern delights is best Indian restaurant in Townsville. Highly recommended

Such a nice restaurant to visit! Staff were very warm and lovely. The food was the best Indian I've had in Townsville!! Their Butter Chicken and Chicken Biriyani are on point!!! Definitely going back!!

Highly Recommend great prices and amazing food….everyday making fresh food ..southern delights not stopped here at random and Wow food was incredible. Masala fried cauliflower was amazing so refreshing. All the staff were very nice and made sure we were happy and enjoyed our food.

Have been ordering food from the past one year and the consistency of the flavours and quality of the food hasn’t changed once instead Improved way more than expected. Biriyani is to die for. And my usual take away for drinks on a Friday Night. Ask for Indian spice and you wont be disappointed.

We went to dine in but ended up getting our goods as takeaway and leaving as we saw the server change bin liners and pick up rubbish without hand gloves, then proceed to serve food without washing his hands. Also, this is the last time we will go there, we order mild butter chicken and mild goat curry, and the flavour was horrible, we have been to plenty of Indian restaurants this had the worst tasting food, and the serving sizes are really small, it was a disappointment.

I had an absolutely delightful experience at Southern Delight! Their biryani is super yummy and tasty, definitely one of the best I've had so far. The flavors were well-balanced and authentic, and the rice had the perfect texture. The ambiance of the restaurant was also really charming, and the staff were attentive, friendly, and accommodating. I highly recommend Southern Delight to anyone looking for an exceptional Indian dining experience - you will not be disappointed!
