First time here with my wife and young son.Initial service was fast and helpful plus value seemed good.When the food came out though the fish and chips (normal & sweet potato) were over cooked and everything had way way too much salt, and we like salt!Let the ladies at the front counter know and they said would talk to the kitchen but no other assistance offered? They couldn't even be bothered to take a look at the food they served.We tried to continue eating our meals but couldn't finish due to the taste, and in hindsight shouldn't have even started (we were really hungry).Took our plates to the counter when we left and calmly voiced our disappointment again.They were apologetic and nice enough but could have offered something? Cook something else for us? A dessert or coffee? Anything?At the very least it would have given them the chance to make us feel OK about the situation. No, they just let us walk out frustrated, unsatisfied and with $50 less in the wallet.Thankfully, there are too many other fish and chip shops to ever have to go back to this one.Food and service experience - VERY POOR!

Went there years ago, has it changed ownership ? Last time we were there it was fantastic. This time round, the fish was terrible, the fries terrible. The burger was good. Would I go back for fish and chips, definitely not.

Best fish n chips in redcliffe bye far quicker service and perfect crunchy chips fish battered perfect and take away flat head fillets done up ready to go killing it

This is a great fish and chip shop, don't get me wrong here. lovely crispy fish & chips, I had a huge burger tho, it lacked flavour, very ordinary on the works!Bit disappointed about the short hours it's open too, often inconvenienced.

The best fish and chips I've had, quite possibly ever. Perfectly cooked, not too much better, definitely the best prawn cutlets I've had. Don't think twice about having a meal here!

Seafood Lovers Cafe is your basic fish and chip shop.Location is good as it is located across the road from a beach. There is only one picnic table on the beach side close to the shop. However, there are a few tables and chairs located outside where you can enjoy your meal.Cod was cooked perfectly and tasted nice. Chips were very lightly seasoned but cooked well.Environment appears a little worn down; however, it was clean and tidy.Customer service was subpar. Staff seemed uninterested when taking orders.Price for our meal was $29.80 for two pieces of fish, small Chips and two drinks. I personally believe that this was a little too steep for the portion of food we received.
