Carmila Beachfront Camp
Beaut spot for couple of days camping. Best time is off-season because this place will get packed. Well looked after but some people do leave their rubbish behind. Please take it with you, or put it in the 2 large bins provided at first camp site !

We have camped Here before but since the council has taken over it is not so good. We found duel axil caravans going into camper trailer sites and in the process churning up the sand and making it very difficult for everyone. During our stay 5 vans parked in the wrong area. Some even camping in the tent area. The council needs to police this.

Beautiful spot right on the beach. Saw 2 sharks! FYI there are no public water taps in Carmila so come prepared with water!

Nice quiet camping spot on the beach. Can be Very busy! 3 zones1. For caravans2. Camper trailers3. TentsDump point in zone 2, but no water.Tide goes in and out a long way.Lots of prickly seed pods (like bindeez) on ground, watch out with dogs!Great sunrise, fishing (whiting) okay at high tide.Mobile Phone reception is really poor, no data, and you'll have to shout.

We LOVED this camp site. Stayed 2 nights in a camper trailer and pretty much had the area to ourselves. Be warned though - sand is very soft in the camper trailer section, you may get bogged. The toilets were clean and fires are allowed. No water, so make sure you take it with you. Bins are located up in the caravan section. Call the council during work hours (M-F) to book prior. We were pretty relaxed during and after staying here. A special little spot!

We took a thirty foot caravan in here easy. We stopped at the second camp ground but later, after exploring, found we should have gone further. Private spots, absolute beach front. $13 per night.
