Yum! Really affordable, delicious and big portions! The owners were so lovely as well, if I could give more stars I would. $12 for a burger and a drink, and out came a loaded Turkish loaf that I had to split with my partner (a bit sad I couldn't finish it myself, it was so tasty.) The cake and coffee were also really good, you can tell there's a lotta love that goes into their food. We'll definitely be back, so glad we stopped local :)

I ordered takeaway. A very happy lady took my order and when i collected staff were so friendly.. our burgers were huge and delicious.. highly recommend this little Cafe..

Great little country cafe that has just changed hands back in August. Massive steak sandwich easily big enough for 2 with a very tasty relish. We also had milk shakes and a lemon and lime tart plus blueberry pie. All desserts appeared to be homemade. Yummy. Very reasonably priced and very friendly husband & wife team. Highly recommend

Family owned and run cafe, good home brew coffee and cake. Pot of tea , lactose free milk available. Large outdoor covered rustic setting.Sweet stop driving through. Happy to be seated for coffee or tea again.

Lovely day for a drive in the country so picked the Dog Friendly sweethearts cafe in eudlo as our destination. It has lived up to what I have read and more. So much that ticks my personal wish list: breezy outdoor seating, dog friendly, all day breakfast menu, emphasis on local produce, friendly people service as well as dog service, easy parking. Purple vibe relaxing.

Unfortunately, the team at Sweethearts dropped the ball today. They didn't seem particularly busy, for Mother's Day, but then we haven't been here before, so we have no gauge of what constitutes busy. Perhaps 4-5 tables is in fact busy for them.The staff were very polite and helpful, no issues there. However it took them until they had prepared one of our meals to advise us that they had run out of an ingredient for the other. So I changed my order to the same as what my partner was having. My partner's meal was not particularly hot to begin with, and with the added delay of waiting, while nibbling a little, so we could eat together, her food was nowhere near the temperature it should have been once mine finally arrived, and therefore was not enjoyable, and as a result was not finished. Wasted food and wasted money. That was the first round of disappointment. Round two followed shortly after.My meal was hot. Fresh off the grill I suppose, but it was undercooked. One large pancake that was still mostly batter inside. I advised the staff at the counter, who advised the cook. The cook (the owner, I presume) proceeded to explain to me that it was 'tricky to get them cooked right and not blacken them'. I would have preferred a simple 'Sorry about that, can we make you another serve?', but taking responsibility for mistakes is obviously not their strong suit. A moment of embarrassment, I'm sure.For the sake of comparison; I make pancakes at home probably 4 times a year - so not very often. This person makes them almost every day. I've never had undercooked pancakes at home. They are very easy to cook properly. Clearly this serve was rushed because of their earlier mis-calculation of ingredients and having already prepared the other meal.I asked for a refund, which was given without question. Unfortunately this incident will prevent us from choosing this cafe again in the future. We left hungry, disappointed, and with no faith in their ability to meet basic service demands of their small establishment.
