An upstairs gem… a bar with beauty and atmosphere plus a delightful balcony (covered with heating). A very special place to relax and enjoy the chill vibe.

Nice hidden spot for a special beverage upstair on the old George Hotel. Drinks menu listed well, prices typically $20 for mixed drinks/cocktails. Share nibble plates available. Sit 'out side' on the covered balcony amongst the plants and heaters, or inside, in comfy chairs or around the bar. Interesting décor/atmosphere.

Love this place. Staff are friendly and attentive, the location is great and the balcony of plants is gorgeous. The music playlist is fabulously matched to the decor and the pickled vegetables and dips are as tasty as could be and complement a super and creative cocktail list. Very relaxed and a cosy place to settle down on a winters evening.

Botanik cocktail bar in Kyneton is a hidden gem. The drinks are beautifully crafted and the atmosphere is relaxed and inviting. Highly recommend checking it out.

Wow. We’ve already visited two days in a row and will be back tonight and tomorrow. Everything about this bar and the store associated with it is divine. The woman who served us is a font of knowledge about the spirits. She was so generous and insightful. They are some of the best cocktails we’ve ever had. Sit inside or on the deck - you’ll feel incredibly indulgent. The only downside was the limited food menu, but I think a full kitchen would ruin the relaxed vibe of the place so I understand why they have set up as they have.

My wife called from Melbourne asking if the bar was going to be open this evening given it’s my birthday. Arrived and venue was closed for training. That’s reasonable but when I explained my disappointment I was told the internet states they are closed when in fact it doesn’t. If you’re wrong it’s always best not to blame the customer as part of the interaction. Very nice person on the phone but strategically disappointing on a couple of fronts.

Fantastic bar .. lovely platters.. great ambience. Bar manager Leah (hope I got that right) is amazing...her knowledge of drinks and her understanding of customer needs/tastes is almost psychic!

Just so good. Best coffee I’ve ever had & an incredible cocktail range. Worth the visit even if you’re a sober caffeine-hater :)
