Skid Control

Dylan and his team provided a fun filled day with vital information for young and older drivers, with and without experience. My son and I left with a greater understanding of our cars, how to handle road conditions and both of us had a big grin from all the fun. We look forward to other events in the future.

10/10, just attended a driving performance day. So we'll run and excellent instructors. I highly recommend this course for anyone interested in dipping their toe in to going fast or just brushing up on some skills. Great fun! Loved every minute of it.

Dylan and Paul from skid control took a group of 12 colleagues and I on a defensive driving course. We went through correct posture in the car, engaging ABS braking, feeling under and oversteering plus the basics of vision while driving. I was impressed with how articulate they were explaining key messages and presenting to our group. Would recommend for drivers of all levels and especially beginner or learner drivers.

The crew at Skid Control take pride in providing class leading driver training in motorsports while providing a safe and fun environment to learn. I have been to many of their events and look forward to attending more in the future! Keep up the good work guys!

Had and absolute blast at the Mt Cotton Skid Control day. So much fun sliding my car around in a controlled safe environment. David and Hannah were amazing, such good operators and definitely made the day even more enjoyable. Absolute credit to the team.Can't wait to go back! Thanks guys!

We did a skidpan day and it is good fun but the pricing structure is quiet deceiving in my mind. When you pay over $100 extra each to hire their vehicle you would think this allows use of the car for the whole time you are there considering it easily covers fuel cost and wear and tear for the vehicle. Instead it only allows for one 10 minute session each. So across 8 of us hiring out the track and vehicle we paid $880 extra to use a car for 10 minutes each and then were expected to use our own vehicles. This isn't clearly stated anywhere and was quiet annoying as none of us had a suitable vehicle to use on track. If I did this again I would only pay for the use of our own vehicle and get a rwd hire car from a rental company for the day as this would be much more cost efficient and you can likely get a car with handbrake and manual gearbox thats much more suitable than the auto supra.It was also unfortunate they did not have the 86 available anymore as the diesel skidpan is not a good car to use on it.

Fantastic company. Very well run events with friendly staff that are very experienced and great at explaining the technical aspects of driving for everyone to understand and learn. Massive focus on making learning fun and safety for all participants.

Absolutely amazing. I took the wife and she went in the hire car with the instructor, took her a bit to get the hang of it but we had a ball.Great gift for any petrol head or anyone that wants to have better control of their car.

Been going to many events hosted by skid control including skid pan , rally and khanacross days,Every time i attend, i always leave with a great experience, knowledge and as a better driver.The team are super friendly, willing to help you improve, show you the ins and outs, and make sure you having fun too.Well recommended to anyone at any level from first timers to professionals.

Participated in the test n drive day - such a good day. Plenty of good layouts for sliding and circuit work.Both of the cars we brought were too loud, rather then turning us away Dylan worked with us to get the cars db reading to the level they needed to be for lakeside. Thanks for working with us on this one all day, we’ll know for next time!
