Had the mix grill, lamb cutlets deep fried and just greasy. My wife had the battered fish and chips. Batter was soggy and made her crook. Good staff good atmosphere.

Great meals for all family, couple cold beers and some wine, fast and friendly service.

Cafe food excellent, staff very friendly, beer nice and cold but no luck with the meat raffle.

We decided to have dinner here as RSL clubs are normally good value for money but not this time, I had lamb shanks that had no flavour as if it was boiled vegetables were hard. My wife chose chicken schnichel it was burnt in stale oil chips tasted tough and stale. We didn't complain just left the remaining meals and went on our way. I doubt that we will be back.

In the bistro the Chips arrived cold and under cooked, 2 extra mushroom sauces never arrived( the mushroom sauce that arrived with the steak didn't have any mushroom taste to it anyway). When we asked the staff to let the chef know all we got was sorry about that". Ended up getting a refund for the extra sauce but whoever it was that came to authorise the refunded didn't want anything to do with it and didn't even look at me to say sorry and walked off as quick as she could. 2 starts because the burger and steak was good and the bar staff were excellent. I would've stayed for another drink or 2 but I was too annoyed by the bistro."

Sunset bistro was a cosy environment to eat dinner however with our party of three, we ordered our food at 7:20pm and only received our food an hour later. Our food was only distributed once we had gone up to the counter to ask where our food was. The service was decent yet the food we received was cold, fries were hard and the vegetables had no flavour.

I attended a work conference here and the facilities were well set out. The staff were very accommodating particularly at morning tea when they adjusted for our underestimate of the number of people attending. The staff went out of their way to assist wherever needed.

Absolutely a huge RSL club with plenty of parking but no atmosphere. We dined in the bistro where the meals were excellent but the dining area lacked character and to be honest the food courts in supermarkets would be more preferable. It is certainly not the restaurant to go for a romantic meal with your partner or to celebrate a birthday as we did. The staff however, were great as was the courtesy bus service and driver.

We were there for the Jason Owen concert. We had a great meal being Roast of the day and a few drinks. Overall we enjoyed our evening immensely and I recommend this venue without reservation.
