Didn’t see any platypus as yet but it’s an easy stroll! Been told that someone saw two of them about 8-9pm so I’ll be going back to see!

We went there at 10-11 am. You have to be ready to wait. We saw one platypus very well.

Found a platypus at around 6 pm today just down the river! Locals mentioned a flood may have washed away their habitat, but they are back!

Paved trail starts on the Northeast side of the bridge. Small sign, or from town centre near Mitre 10Very high chance you will encounter a platypus - late afternoon/early morning.Walk slowly and quietly along the creek. Look for ripples in the water.

A truly beautiful and peaceful location, well worth a stop if you're passing through. We were lucky enough to spot a Platypus swimming up stream and watched him for a little while. They aren't easy to spot thats for sure! There's something special about seeing these in their natural habitat.

very good & convenient spot to look for Platypus in wild. Hardly a minute walk from the road to this viewing platform. Look for bubbles quietly and patiently and Platypus will appear on surface along the river banks. We spotted platypus at evening.

We went there and explored . We got bit late , as platypus went into hiding , thanks to hot weather. If you visit in moderate or cold temperatures, you can get lucky. The campers who had camped beside the area saw lot of them . Fingers crossed for next trip.

Very easy and relaxing walk. Saw a living mushroom from Alice in Wonderland. Massive! Just near the platypus viewing platform.Wrong time of day for us to see the platypus.
