Wangaratta Toyota

BEWARE OF THIS TOYOTA DEALER, do your own due diligence and get any car independently checked by a mechanic (no matter how new it is) as Wangaratta Toyota are dishonest and seem to close the shutters when complaints come their way. As instructed, I did write an email to the address Toyota provided, detailing my concerns over the condition of my Landcruiser when purchased. I never received a reply, so I’ll air my grievances here. I purchased my Landcruiser online, it was advertised with 52,000ks yet when I picked it up it had 56,000ks. Damien assured me it had never been in a fire zone(Bit unbelievable being ex fire service vehicle) yet it had a burn in the seat, the pollen filter was blocked with ash to the point my air vents didn’t blow air. The air con still stinks like fire smoke. The fuel filter blocked by the time I got to Melbourne and the air filter was chock full of ash. Damien assured me the fire dept had done every second service as those stamps in the log book were missing. My mechanic told me the diff and transfer case oil was the original oil and should have been done at 40,000kms so was 16,000km overdue when I purchased the vehicle and 36,000ks overdue when I had it changed. I don’t recommend these guys or that slippery used car salesman Damien to anybody.

We recently purchased a used van from Wangaratta Toyota. We live in Melbourne but found this one online. Damien couldn't have been more helpful being willing to do all he can to help us. He was willing to send videos, however, we decided to drive up and spend a couple of hours making our decision. Damien was very patient and willing to honestly answer any questions we had, helping us to get an RACV check quickly and then driving the vehicle down to us when all the paperwork was done. Would highly recommend the service we received...and we love the van!

Damien and the crew were amazing to deal with. I found my car online from a different state and they made the purchase smooth and fast. I needed to pick it up ASAP and make a 13 hour trek home and they went above and beyond to get me on the road, including getting it registered in my home state. The timeline between purchasing it, a flight and an XPT ride, and driving it off of the yard, was 48 hours. I didn’t think it would be possible but they made sure it was. Super happy with my purchase and experience, thanks guys!

terrible dealership . bought a 2018 swlb with reg and reg and 1 year dealership warranty and everything that could go wrong with it did . had to fight hammer and nail to get anything fixed even though most of the things wrong it it were rwc items . no-one there wanted to know about it . only after threatening to get comsumer affairs involved would they do anything . diff wining , clutch shuttered on takeoff , heater blower fan sounded like a plane taking off , cold to hot heater switch wouldnt turn . front disc s shuttered when you put the brakes on , rear brakes were down to absolute bare minium , would be lucky to pass the 28 day rwc certificate . sold me the vehicle with 3 silver hubcaps and one black one . were very hestitant to even give me another hubcap . i had to chase it up and get them to re emburse me . they may have a flash dealership but there salesman ship , dealership warranty and aftersales service leave alot to be desired . once you buy the vehicle and pay your money they dont want to know about you .wouldnt even go back there to get a coffee

John & Scott was professional, honest and very easy to deal with, making the purchase of my RAV4 efficient and with zero issues especially as I live 300km away from Wangaratta. John & Scott took time to explain everything about the vehicle to me and made sure i was satisfied before letting me drive off. I purchased my first car today from these guys. I live about 250 kms away and it wasn’t possible for me to make multiple trips. Damien, the guy who deals in used cars ensured me about the car condition. After speaking to him and watching the car virtually i was very convinced and felt secured to put in a deposit. Damien ensured me that if the condition was not what he described to me online he was happy to refund the amount. In 3-4 days the entire process to transfer the car to my name including rego rwc was carried out. They offered me a pickup from the local train station and i was not shocked to see the car at all as it was in the same condition described to me on phone. They carried out the next service which saved me few hundred dollars aswell which could be hard for young first car buyers. After the test drive i was impressed with my car. They also gave me a full tank of fuel which was very impressive and helpful for me taking the car back to Melbourne the same day without stopping for fuel. I am very satisfied with my vehicle, i had doubts first buying a car online but my experience was great with these guys. Also the price point which they offer is really genuine and below few thousands or atleast 1000 from private sales in Melbourne makes it worth getting a car from them. Special thanks to Damien, the guy who picked me up and all the team involved in the process. The conversation was smooth and they kept me updated on all stages. Wish could give 10/5.

Bought my new car from here. Great service throughout. Just had the service done. Same great service. Couldn't do enough for me while I waited. Car service was done in timeframe. Even washed.Not a bad word to say about Wangaratta Hyundai from the front desk thru to the mechanics.

Purchased a car from them and it couldn't have gone better. Was in conditions as promised, delivered to our door and best price we could find. Friendly and helpful customer service. Would definitely recommend.
