One of the best equipped playgrounds in the area. Safely fenced in. Busy though on weekends with birthday parties and events..

Great park designed with toddlers in mind. All the equipment is easily used by children old enough to climb up stairs. Three types of slides , interesting balance beams and spinning capsule are the highlights for my daughter.

This is a safe well maintained park I could enjoy my slab in peace while the toddlers ran amuck.

Bubbler between no 13 and 15 hiding close to fence in bushes.The swings are gr8, even my large bum feted comfortably :)Only minus I didn't find toilet close by.In general love the place !

I took my 2year old grandson there. He really enjoyed the 3 slides, including a bendy one. There are 2 low bridges that are so good for balance etc. The mushroom stools are a hit, as we pretended to have morning tea. It's reasonably shaded in the morning before 11am. Very clean. Will visit again.

Not too big, not too small, just enough for children to play for a short time.Although the playground has safelocks & a sign that dogs are not allowed 10m around the place, another signage saying unleash dogs are permitted if with the owner is nearby. I could see a huge dog unleashed on the grass side of the playground and I just thought there are lots of small toddlers coming to this place and anything can happen- would’ve been better if they have separated the playground & the grass area for dogs or at least some rules for keeping the leash on.

Grasmere Childrens Playground
A wonderful playground with an excellent range of equipment to suit children from toddlers through to the ones who are a little older. There is ample parking, the whole area is fenced and a very good amount of shade. Several coffee shops are just a short stroll away.

Great playground for younger kids. I tried a number of years ago to get NS Council to make it a child sanctuary (no dogs). I love dogs, but some owners are clueless. There's no shortage of alternatives in the area.
