Williams Landing Library Lounge
WL residents have always been treated as 3rd class cirizens by City of Wyndham and VIC state government. There is no SCHOOL and basic social amenities for us. This Library which has been opened some time a ago is very tiny and majority of times we have been told off as the capacity limit of 49 has been reached. The Staff has got used to behaving rudely to people as they have no chocie but to turn away people from exercising their fundamental right to bring their kids to things like rhyme time. Its unfortunate that even after paying rates we don't get basic amenities mentioned above. There is a urgent need for the council to buy a bigger property for library or start payi g us back our rates.

Williams Landing Library Lounge
I am a Williams Landing local and am highly impressed with the potential of this library. The Library Lounge ok s staffed by knowledgeable and approachable librarians and support staff that have considerately helped with alll my queries. The place is clean and there is hand sanitizer provided. Borrowing facilities and system ens are easy to use. Registration is quick and easy. The selection of books leaves much to be desired got adults. There is no uaeable computer terminal. And it a program targetted at children is running, there are no desks available for use for those who study or research. There is a liberal use of seating in the library with colour cushions and blocks littered throughout. I would still like to see more innovative use of space and decor to allow facilitate research facilities like public computer terminals and adequate desk space. Library exterior needs to also be reworked as the tinted windows make the library feel like it's close all the time otherwise, I want to invest in the success of this library and hope for more innovation and funding to encourage a healthy ecology within the library facilities.
