Rooms are fairly large and newly renovated with a nice outdoor patio area. Even though the road can be a bit noisy and the neighbours a bit close for a person from the quiet countryside, I found it good enough for a couple of nights stay for work. The only criticism I have is the cleaning of the room. I think the housekeeping could improve their attention to detail when cleaning the room. The room has a small kitchen, microwave, kettle,fridge, cutlery etc. It also has its own split system for heating and cooling.

Stayed in pet friendly room, it was absolutely spotless, plenty of room with king bed and small courtyard for dogs. Definite stop going to and from the outback. Thank you.

A great place with an emphasis on the environmental aspects of a motel. Including rammed earth walls (not to worry as hard as concrete). Great thermal mass, never even turned on the AC. Large room and had a terrific patio covered by an arbor. Would highly recommend and very reasonable pricing.

My husband and I have stayed here several times on our trips when in Port Augusta, Alan who runs the motel is a nice man and we chat with him when he is there. Lovely rooms, lovely powerful shower, nice kitchen as well. It's always our first choice when in Port Augusta. Also reasonable prices.

Pet friendly label but cautioned repeatedly in writing and verbally -not on furniture -fair enough, not in bathroom - well ok ? Why?, asked where to have a swim directed to a mud flat , pup got very muddy went back, hose on wall outside room takes 3 mjns for small dog to wash off, Alan marched over said we werent allowed to wash him there, said there were dog washes downtown , we werent told this, unsure what the issue was so i asked for broom to sweep any excess water, i got it ,by time i got back water was dry, so hot. Rest of night we werent comfortable , rooms are lovely for sure but not pet friendly place

Sheer luxury stopover from Perth to Sydney. Amazing bed, bathroom, dog friendly outdoor area, TV kitchenette. Would love to have stayed longer. Thank you Alan. Cheers Susanne, Gerald and Nellie

Accommodation was lovely. Allan was helpful. No stove top or electric pan in kitchenette. There is a microwave in the room and access to a BBQ. Make sure you read the in room information. Very entertaining. Shop/sero opposite and a Foodland/Bottlo 150m down the room. Highly recommend. Would definitely stay here again.
