Avis Car & Truck Rental Bankstown

I was recommended Avis Budget by my insurance company I was impressed with the car as it was nice and clean and was satisfied however the staff could have been more friendly after I have returned the car as I paid the $100 Bond… I was told the money will return into my account and 3 weeks later I have never gotten my money back..what a rip off…never going to use Avis again

Went there with my partner to get a rental car but because he didn’t have his actual credit card on him we had to go all the way back home to get it. We were already having such a long day because we had to get our car fixed due to a car incident hence why we needed a rental car. We asked the lady who was serving us what time do they close before we left and she said 5.30pm. As soon as we returned which was at about 4.45pm she saw us come in and rolled her eyes then asked us to take a seat and she’ll be with us in a moment and so we did. Then later on she goes on to say, with attitude “Next time just tell me if you’s are coming back or not”. Didn’t know we had to tell her whether or not if we were coming back like it mattered and it took less than 10mins to get our rental car so I don’t get why we had to give her notice. There was no need for a rude comment like that. I honestly don’t see what her issue was. With customer service like that, NOT returning to this place again for hired cars nor would I recommend. So rude.

from some one that worked there for a long time the people in that office and wash bay are dogs and the owner of Hurstville and Campbelltown is a snake go to any other company if u want value for money car salesman have more respect

Worst experience ever! The fat lady at the front has no respect what so ever and absolute horrible customer service . ABSOLUTE KAREN! She made us sit and wait for nearly 2 hours to verify details that I already had with me, and said that she doesn’t want to loose her job for me. Don’t ever hire from them. Absolute rubbish, and thief’s. I was told multiple times a different amount and when I got to Avis I get told a higher price. DONT RECOMMEND.

Never get the car I booked, but always something better. Remember Seinfeld?

They are thieves, you will be charged twice in Australia under avis mascot and again avis Virginia, you better check your statement and make sure you are not over charged. Contacted my bank gave them a copy of final invoice and fraud team will dispute all other US chargers . Terrible service even with the toll regardless if you use your own tag they will still charge you for it at Double the price.

Quick, efficient and professional customer service! The car I hired was clean, spotless, and smelt hygienic! With COVID 19 and all, that was a great comfort! The car was also very powerful so I was able to zip across town with no problems! Highly recommend!

This is a genuine review of the unprofessionalism of one of the staff. The Asian guy who was serving us was extremely impolite. First of all he failed to do his job, secondly he was arrogant about his mistake and no apology was issued for his mistake.1. We rented a hatchback2. But when we returned the car and the guy verified everything was in order, he charged us for a sedan. We only realised this when we asked how much was the total and he told us a much higher value than the estimated value. He did not appreciate us questioning the price. After multiple requests he explained we have been charged 49/day for a sedan. I asked how is it sedan if he just checked the car and it’s a hatchback standing outside. He explained that’s what the online application says. I asked would you not verify the online application against the physical inspection? He got upset and said you aren’t the original rentee so I am not interested talking to you.Own up if you made an error. We would have been wrongly charged if we didn’t request a price breakdown.
