SummarySome friendly staff, good selection on the floor. Store has communication issues and After Sales support is nonexistence. Thought I would try HN again in a long time and this experience will send me back to online shopping, at least the savings they offer make up for it.The Good-Friendly staff at purchase.-Whiting goods sale person worked with me for the best pricing.The Bad-6 weeks and was still left waiting for a TV (was told 4 weeks max). Understand supply chain issues but no proactive follow up was given and three call from me to HN and still no one gave me a follow up call with an update.-When I purchased the whiting goods, I purchased the extended warranty. I was told by salesperson that delivery team would install the washing machine. On delivery, driver advised I would have to install.-When I went into store asking for an update on TV, I was informed it the TV had been refunded which confused me. A lot of mix up, confusion and heartache that could be avoided with better After Sales Support.

Not the best experience at Valley store. In the market for a washing machine and was just browsing. Tried to help washing machine sales assistant as pricing and models was unclear and he didn't seem to care. Moved on to computer section as had seen specials at Oxley Harvey Norman's and was keen to buy but had no specials marked our at all. will be heading to another store now to make my selection.

Beware, very dishonest sales people, scammers. I went to purchase a laptop this week and spoke with 2 sales people: Josh and Matt. I gave them my budget. First, the prices displayed on the laptop don't reflect the sales prices that Harvey Norman online has provided which they should. Josh, in particular, made no mention of the fact that both laptops that I was looking at advertised in the store for $999 and $1299 were each actually advertised on sale for $798 on the Harvey Norman website . This was even though I came in informing him my budget was $800. Instead, Josh specifically informed me that there was nothing in that price range for what I was looking for. When laptop #1 was not in stock, Matt went on the computer to see where else I could find it but failed to mention it was on sale for $798. I asked Matt and Josh if instead, they could give me the more expensive but almost identical laptop (advertised for $1299) at the same price" of $999. After much conferring between them and spending time on their computer as if they were used car salespeople

Website misleading! Says item in stock. But actually in stock in the warehouse.. which is offsite... and closes before the store!! So couldn’t get item. Wasted my time. Sales guy seemed like he just wanted to go home. Could have been an easy sale but I walked out. Good Guys had my item at same price as HN sale price .. but open to further discount. Highly recommend Good Guys over HN excuse for customer service… more like sales prevention!

The best Harvey Norman store in Brisbane. Wide variety of household goods at decent prices. Most products are fitted with a long warranty, making shopping here risk free. Staff are friendly and willing to bend over backwards for you. Very helpful and usually know what they are talking about. Located in Fortitude Valley opposite the new Tesla Centre, this Harvey Norman is quite easy to get to. Heaps of parking with first 3 hours free. Better to come on a weekday in the evening, as you will get served quicker. Stress free household shopping done right.

Only bought here as there was a floor model. I have a whole house to furnish but prob won’t bother buying again. Fridge/washing machine salesperson was not very interested in providing the least bit of customer service or doing a deal despite knowing I have to furnish a whole house … missed opportunity guys

It's an unpleasant experience that I had been to this Fortitude valley store today around 1:35pm. I was looking at one of the Samsung S23+ and trying out the functions. Suddenly a sales man came across being very rude and unprofessional saying Optus giving out phone for free etc... which I don't care about. After, he shouted with his loudest possible voice to his colleagues who is at the other end of store: This (guy) only pay $20 a month for his phone"

Looking at buying a laptop for my son and had an excellent experience with Jake from the computers department, he was full of knowledge, patient and understanding. He took care of my purchase from beginning to the end and would truly recommend him to all of my friends. Thank you Jake !

My first time ever, buying from Harvey Norman (the good guys were too far away) and I was SO impressed! Ty served me and his product knowledge about the Bissell machine I wanted was excellent! Very professional and pleasant. Upon paying at the counter, Tara asked if I needed help carrying the carton to my vehicle and when I said I was downstairs, she directed me to the lift as the easiest and quickest way to exit the store to the carpark. The best retail service experience in a very long time! Thank you both.
