I have been meaning to leave this review since Sept but knew I would get to it somehow because it is so deserving. This was by far the best service I've experienced in 2020 by far.James and the garage impressed me so much and were the light at the end of a very long tunnel. After months of issues with our car and speaking with multiple mechanics James was the only one that actually sat down and spoke with me and listened to the very long complicated story. This was just so respectful and I straight away I knew we were in good hands. The car was fixed within a day and has not caused us any problems since. James kept in constant contact and followed up afterwards which was very impressive and appreciated. I also really apprecaited the lift to the train station when I didn't quite know the way.James is such a lovely genuine guy and a very honest and professional mechanic. You could not go to a better place. We will go nowhere else now and have reccommended the place to friends already.All the best of success to everyone at Jay Lee Motors in 2021 and thank you!

I was very happy with the level of professionalism and the work done. There was a whole list of things that needed doing for a blue slip, engine mounds, lens fitted, wipers changed, and a bunch of other stuff. The head mechanic works hard to get everything done in a timely manner and everything was completed perfectly. Felt very looked after, also felt they are very honest and didn't add things just for the sake of it. I trust this mechanic 100%. Which is very rare!

No stuffing around, no nonsense - just professionalism and honesty.We've had a run of bad luck with our vehicle, but it's been great knowing we can run it over to James anytime for an honest evaluation and quick turn around.Definately pleased we've got them as our primary mechanic in Sydney and would recommend them to anyone who were to ask.

More expensive than the Honda dealer and didn’t finish the job.I’m summary, I decided to try this business due to good reviews however my car was not finished and the quoted cost was $112.5 higher than a dealer. Based on my personal experience I do not recommend this business.I saw good reviews and I booked in for a standard log book service on a late model car with low Kms.I dropped the car off at 8:30AM. At 10:33AM they called to discuss my car however they we’re calling about someone else’s car. That’s okay, just a mix up and we sorted it out. We reconfirmed they would do a log book service, check the price of any extras with me and agreed that the car would be ready between 4:00PM-5:00PM.At 4:43PM they called me to check the price of extras including a cabin filter and brake fluid and advised the car would not be ready until 6:30PM. They did not know the total price and gave me the cost for each individual item. We had to add it up together over the phone and eventually confirmed the total would be $497.50. I did ask for a price when booking although I was not given one, I decided to go ahead anyway due to good reviews. In any case I needed the car back and was unhappy with the price so requested work stop. I would pay for what was done, and said I would come pick it up in 15 mins. Immediately after this call, I called a Honda dealer who quoted $385 for the same service and parts. I should have gone there.When I arrived 20 mins later, the car was still in the hoist being worked on. I waited another 30mins. The staff and owner wasted time arguing about whether they could wear headphones in front of customers - I don’t mind if you have headphones in, all I want is my car back as I’m late.The owner did apologise and said one of the mechanics had to leave to get a part for someone else’s car which caused a delay. I understand things happen however if the work cannot be done I would have preferred them to call me to reschedule, instead of wasting my time. I will now have to spend more time getting the rest of the service finished on another day.They said I could come back next week to finish the service however I declined. I was upfront and told them after this bad experience I would prefer to go elsewhere. I ended up paying the balance of $220 for an incomplete service.

James and his crew are our go to mechanic with anything that involves cars and engines. Guy is trustworthy and very reliable, and would definitely travel heaven and hell to fix your car. On top of that, their services are priced competitively. We cannot recommend this shop enough.

James is an excellent mechanic. I had been back and forth with my car over a certain issue and each time he reassured me and put me at ease that he would sort it and he did. He is definitely an honest and trustworthy mechanic which is key. He kept in contact daily with updates. I would definitely see James again if I had any issues with my car and I would recommend him to others!!
