Very helpful staff and explain everything to you

Mid this year we had placed an order with Rural fence and trade in Whittlesea. We were told at that time that the items will not be in stock for atleast 3-4 months due to a shortage in supply and that we'd be contacted when it arrives and delivery arrangements will be completed when it gets there.We were told they have trucks that deliver and that Kinglake was an area they delivered to.We were contacted weeks after our stock arrived (some time in October) and when contacted were told there was no rush for delivery as we were making room to have our items delivered.As we passed there location in Whittlesea, we noticed the yard being cleared and heard they were closing down that location. At no point were we contacted regarding this nor were we told when we ordered this was happening, nor were we told they are unable to deliver.After contacting Coldstream we were told if our items were not collected by end of Jan they would withhold our money and keep our stock ordered. We expressed we do not have the means to pick up the stock and still need delivery as we do not own a truck to do so. The assistant on the phone was abrupt, refused to assist with delivery and when asked for a refund due to the lack of customer service, they stated NO THATS NOT HAPPENING"We have contacted Coldstream to get in contact with the owner/director.Your website states you have trucks that deliver

Prices are very competitive. And they did a great job with delivery putting the materials in the best spot for me, even though it was more work for them.

Knowledge. Good old fashioned retail service with understanding and options provided to meet my unique electric fence needs.If you can't get there, ring or email your issue. I found alternatives I hadn't considered.

Guys here have been super helpful in my dealing with them. Dry knowledgeable on their product range and availability of stock. Very happy and willing to order things in if they don't have it.

Staff are super helpful here. We come from over the hill (near St Andrews) to collect fencing material. Price very competitive too. If you're there the right day they'll have their 30% off on everything. Definitely keep coming back!!!
