whole store run by a bunch of 16/17 year olds by the looks which is fine but they were very unprofessional and had an attitude while serving me. girl working at the register looked and sounded like she would rather be anywhere else but working. poor service and music is so loud and you can't think straight or hear a thing

Yeah customer service was shocking, didn’t make it past two minutes in the store. We asked for help from a blonde staff member on shoes in my sister’s size and were just told “we don’t do shoes in your size” and then when we asked if they’d have any other options she just said “you’ll have to go look at the men’s shoes” with no offer to help find the right sizing or pair. I understand if they may not have certain sizes but this staff member said this in an exceptionally rude way that left my sister feeling embarrassed. Go over to Platypus Shoes instead! Excellent service there

Worst customer service yet. Was asked to leave the store because I was having a private conversation with friends. Staff was consuming soft drink and maccas while serving customers. When we decided not to purchase anything items were grabbed from hands. They continuously interrupted conversations not understanding social cues. Some serious management needs to take place at JD Indooroopilly.

I had the most pleasant shopping experience yesterday when I entered JD Sports at Indooroopilly shopping centre. I was immediately greeted by a lovely man named Pat and he was so incredibly attentive with assisting me find a good pair of runners. He talked me through each runner I was looking at and explained what each design was made for/the level of support they provided etc. he really knew his stuff and it showed.He was so kind and friendly from the moment I walked into the store. He was also making sure other customers who walked into the store were all greeted with a warm welcome and asked them if they needed assistance whilst ensuring I had everything I needed when trying on shoes. I don’t ever do reviews on Google but this man deserved one.JD - Pat is an incredible asset to your store and I wish there were more “Pats” in stores like these!!! Will definitely be coming back!

My mum bought some socks for my brother yesterday. They had a price tag of $25, but scanned up as $30 at the register. When my mum queried it, she was told, 'oh, that's just the recommended retail price.' If that's the case, then why are you charging well over the recommended retail price?? And, here's a tip for you. It's not rocket science. Buy some of those round stickers for a cheap shop, and stick it over the RRP. Then inflate the price, so that your customers are unaware that you're ripping them off. OR, put correct prices on your gear. OR, if you've advertised the price, then stick to it!! Sadly, we've been in twice to this shop, and this has happened BOTH times. Not coming back.

Bought a pair of Crep laces, soon found out the tips of the laces were too thick to fit the holes of my shoes. I went to return the laces and was told all Crep products are non-refundable due to ‘store policy’ so there was nothing I could do. At no point during the sales transaction was I told the laces were non-refundable or eligible for a store credit, nor is it mentioned on the receipt. Called up HQ and was told the same story however they don’t know the reason behind the ‘store policy’. Who wants a pair of free laces? The lack of transparency has resulted me in avoiding purchasing from JD Sports altogether. Moral of the story: don’t buy Crep products

Really pleased by the customer service I received and how friendly and inviting the staff were. I was able to find everything I needed and more with the help of this lovely casual in the clothing department. She helped me with sizing and even offered alternatives and outfit ideas. Even though the store was busy they made sure that every customer felt welcomed. The store was well presented and their music taste was immaculate. Definitely one of my favourite JD Sports in Brisbane.

Today I took back a 7 month old pair of Nike Air Force 1 that I had hardly worn but were collapsing around the toe and causing significant unsightly wrinkling in the leather. I have a year old, much more worn pair of AF1s that are still perfect so I know these newer ones were CLEARLY due to poor quality workmanship. Unfortunately even though I paid $170, JD sports would not honour the consumer warranty or do anything and told me to go directly to Nike. So I went over to the Nike store in the same shopping centre and explained the situation. They said it was incorrect for JD not to honour the warranty under consumer law but happily provided me an in store credit of $170 for the faulty shoes which I immediately used and then also decided to purchase a second set of Limited Edition AF1s. My sister then also bought a pair of AF1s too so we ended up spending $400 at Nike. I won’t bother going back to JD Sports because I can get better service and more importantly a guarantee on consumer warranty direct through Nike. Sometimes it pays to honour warranty claims on legit bad products your store has sold, so you don’t lose repeat high paying customers. Just saying!

Severely disappointed with the customer service from jd sports. In the current climax where shops are wanting customers to go into stores rather than shop online, today’s experience was a reason why online can be so much better. I rang and got a pair of sneakers put aside to be picked up. They don’t offer postage and I couldn’t even pay for them over the phone. I travelled 2 hours return with my child to get these sneakers, for a manager to tell me they had been sold last night. They had my name and phone number. It doesn’t hurt to give a prospective customer a courtesy call! They didn’t offer anything else or a solution. Disappointed!!

Visited the Indooroopilly JD Store. Purchased 2 items as gifts. Received excellent service. One item was not suitable so went back to the same store to return. Was served by a very rude staff member who refused to give back the original receipt although we were keeping one of items that were on that receipt. He said it is company policy that they keep the original receipt. So we phoned another store to check this and the other store stated that that is strange and they were not aware of such company policy. We were also asked to take a photo of the receipt by the rude staff member who served us. JD, please educate and train your staff appropriately!
