I love staying at the Kool Moon Motel. I always stay there when I visit Ravenshoe and Atherton. Elaine and Trevor are very friendly and extremely helpful. Elaine and I often chat about our love of dolls as we are both collectors.

The room was large, beautifully clean, and comfortable.A short walk to the Ravenshoe Hotel for a meal (don't forget to book first).We were welcomed and the service was very friendly (even though the owner/manager was away).Each room has its own stain glass windows above the door, and individually carved front door. And local artists work in the rooms. Definitely worth seeing.Quite an experience.

Very comfortable country style motel, spotlessly clean, comfy beds, friendly but unobtrusive hosts. Checkout the stunning hand crafted doors featuring rainforest wildlife and stained glass feature panels above the doors. I love staying here.

The owner was very welcoming and pointed out local attractions we could visit. The rooms are large, comfortable, well presented and very clean. The carport extends the length of all the rooms so the cars aren't exposed to any weather at all. The prices are very reasonable and they provide a jug of real milk on arrival. I'll definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it.

Excellent hosts. Very nice showers. No comfortable couch or lounge chair to sit on, just the bed or a kitchen type chair.
