Mel is a great hair stylist for those with curly and Afro hair textures, she has done a slik press for me twice. Mel likes to take her time and precision with doing her clients hair. I would definitely recommend having your hair done by Mel.

Nothing but amazing service. For many years I have had long red coloured hair and always wanted to cut it and change the colour but never found a hairdresser I trusted enough to do this, untill I came across Glammed by Mel. I always walk out with a massive smile she always goes above and beyond with all she does.

Very personalised service. Mel took the time to ask questions before correcting my hair. I wanted blonde and to get rid of orange tones. Absolutely amazing service. I would highly recommend GBM Hair Design 100%.

The first time I saw Mel she spent 7 hours colour correcting my blonde and left me feeling like a beautiful barbie doll.When I went back to ultimately go brunette, Mel helped me find the right shade to enhance my natural features that was also low maintenance. She understood the assignment! Mel is an extremely knowledgeable, fun, charismatic and bubbly hair stylist who I wish I’d met earlier. She’s saved my hair, kept it’s integrity, and her customer service skills are second to none!Do yourself a favour and book in to see her, you won’t regret it!

Mel is the best hairdresser ever. I have been going to her for the past year and a half and she has absolutely transformed my hair. She is so bubbly and outgoing and it’s always a pleasure coming to see her. I can not recommend her enough!!! I have been to so many hairdressers and no one is as good as her!

Mel is my favourite hairstylist. She always gives her clients time to explain what they want and in return she provides all available options to choose from. I always go for something that does not require much maintenance in between visits, but this often means a lot more work required to be done by Mel. She is so patient and thorough, absolutely lovely, friendly and very honest. She is my therapy and ensures the best quality “me-time” for me. Every time I walk out of Mel’s salon, I feel like a princess. She is absolutely AMAZING! Thank you Mel!
