Lunar Drive-in

I loved it. It was my first drive-in and I'm planning to come back. Only drawback was other car lights flashing on suddenly.

First time at a drive e in since I was a young child some 25+ years ago (James and the Giant Peach - can still remember it).After hearing that you had been dealt a blow and forced to close down I just had to finally make that trip from Gippsland for a movie. Brought the kids along and we had a great night.Definitely arrive early. We arrived 35 minutes before start and it was filling up quickly already, not to mention the cafe queue was out the door and most of the way around the building.Overall though it was a fantastic experience and worth every cent. All issues are ones that we could work around by adjusting our timeliness and understanding how busy it can be.Thanks again for a wonderful evening!

Mate laughed at the idea of a drive-in cinema, saying it was the absolute worst way to enjoy a movie. He was right on the audio side of things (FM streamed), but to be able to watch the latest release on the big screen under the chilly night sky with family was actually pretty awesome!Kids were sprawled on sleeping bags in the SUV with the boot door up. Missus and I had our camper chairs out and we were stuffing our faces with hot food (reasonably priced from the cafe) and snacks from home.Screening started promptly at 6.30pm for our show at Screen 1. Projection was crisp and well contrasted. We had a killer spot on the second row and the venue was packed! Pretty sure many like us were making sure to enjoy Lunar before it shutters next month. What a shame.Super friendly staff and a breeze getting in and out even though it was packed. There were roaming staffers with portable battery kits to help folks with dead batteries get jump started. Brilliant service!All-in an amazing experience for the family, and one we’ll look back on with fond nostalgia.

Thoroughly enjoyed watching a movie in a drive in cinema. First experience watching it, I realised that the radio technology used for sound system is amazing. The place do serve vegetarian food, We had the pleasure to have Vegetarian burger and Margarita Pizza. We went to watch Black Adam movie. There were so many people who came up on a Tuesday. I would definately visit this place along with my Family very soon. Can I only suggest if we can request a bollywood movie shown on the screen too? Overall, a great experience.

Fantastic Experience. Been many times. It's a great shame that it is closing down. One of the better movie drive in experiences in Australia. Will be greatly missed.

Such a great night out and with the new cafe they built its now better than ever. Its such a shame they have had to sell up. Would recommend getting in to see a movie before they have to close up for good.

This place is literally one of the best places I've ever been to. Ever since childhood this has been a staple night for me to go with family.As an adult I unfortunately didn't get to come here much, which I greatly regret now that they are closing down.If you haven't been here, or it's been a while, please do yourself a favour and come and soak up the nostalgic vibes, watch a new movie, play the retro arcades in the diner and try their burgers!

So many great family memories here over the years. The staff are also very helpful when you need. Sad to see this iconic venue close up soon. We need more of these good old fashioned places with great service. Well done to all they've accomplished.
