Little Steamer
It's always a reasonable atmosphere here. The décor is modern with a wooden steamer theme. The tables are a bit tight on leg space. There's lots of choice on the menu. My unexpected favourite is currently the lamb curry with naan bread. Service is discrete, welcoming, and makes sure you don't leave any possessions behind.

Little Steamer
Had dinner here on a quiet evening with few customers. The staff were friendly and appeared to care a lot about this new business which was appreciated. In terms of the food, I felt that the portions were a little too small for the price, though the quality was not bad. The Peking duck pancakes seem to be the highlight dish which I might come back for. Otherwise the menu seemed a little confusing, taking random cuisines from around China.

I went with some friends here, they have only been opened for 6 weeks. The food was delicious. The interior & ambience were nice, I like the lighting, so bright and modern. It has modern feel compared with other Chinese restaurants around town.The service was really good. The owner was very friendly and smiley too. I just don't get this in other typical" Chinese restaurants.They do BYO and charge $5/person.Highly recommend this place and we'll go back again soon."

my first glance in there reminds me of the good old days in Shanghai, but the plastic dishes and cups kicks me back to the reality.the lion's head has strong scents of chinese five-spice. though not my favorite, it is ok. the little steam bun is somehow unsatisfactory. it's machine-made and suspected from frozen food. the skin is thick and hard and the pork is not bad but not giving any good feeling. the chicken feet are better but i prefer a more creamy texture. the veggie tastes good.perhaps its not a good place for a meal but for a date.

Food is very tasty, service is good, restaurant is decorated nicely. Just the servicing size too small, three dishes cost about $50 dollars and barely enough for one person.

Another great find in the Canberra mid range dining options. Located slightly out of the City centre on London Circuit, Little Steamer brings a wide slice of China to this not so cosmopolitan city.The menu is great, offering a range of fried and steamed dishes. There is no strong regional theme, but all of them are great and served hot and fresh. Prawn dumplings were especially good.The staff were friendly and attentive and the place was spotless.

Enjoyable food! I really liked the duck pancake and fried fish. Also got the XLBs which were okay and needed more soup in them. They were open late on 29th dec when most other players were closed which was great!

Their peking duck dish is really tasty. The noodle was perfect, not too oily or salty. Great flavour. Quality of their meal is consistent every time I come
