Blue Mountains Grammar School - Wentworth Falls campus

honestly its not that bad but some of the teachers are a bit weird like i once walked in on the laff-dog eating a leather school shoe (i think it was a year 7s) ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

being a grammar school, this school looks pretty nice and you get some cool extras like ski trip, camps and overseas trips, although the bathroom doesn't have working taps which is kinda bad. some good teachers such as mr chopra, miss stockley and mr webb. most people are nice, but some people/friend groups are like really toxic so be aware of that. also the school's pretty small so if you go there and don't fit in with one of the four friend groups in your grade you're kinda stuck. made some great memories at this school and had some fun experiences but think i could have had just as much of a good time or a better time at a public school. is it worth the money? i really don't know.

Dreadful teachers in primary. You will have 2 or 3 good ones and the rest are rubbish. Everyone has complained to the Principal but he seems more interested in keeping his pathetic teachers than listening to us parents. Have had enough i am one of many leaving and taking my children out. I believe it is only still operating as it once long ago had a great reputation, sadly that is long gone. Look elsewhere!

We have had 2 children go through Blue Mountains Grammar School, one finished and one still attending, and we could not recommend this school any higher. From the Principal to any teacher we have dealt with over the years have been understanding and supporting. We not only have given our kids the best education but also a caring and supportive community. For anyone deciding on sending their children here please keep an open mind and go visit the school and see what they have to offer, speak with the teachers, speak with the parents & the children. Then make your decision. We all have different expectations and this school has certainly fulfilled ours.

I am currently attending Blue Mountains Grammar School in Year 9 and it is the best school I could think of. I totally recommend it for anyone. Although, it is very expensive it is certainly worth every cent.

I went to this school a few years back. I was pleasantly surprised upon my arrival back to the svhool last wekends. I saw one of my old teachers, a charming fellow. He ignored me and i was forced to talk to big chop". He was a nice man but a little bit odd. Other people refered to the man as "heli-chopra" . Charming fellow indeed"

Ive had friends take their kids out last year and I've heard back from them that they are now behind in their new schools. Especially the ones coming from kindy and year 1. Having two teachers one after the other that are incapable have now made things harder for the kids. I bet the school hasn't given them a refund though. You might think the school is great but compare the kids to other schools and you will see how they compare. As you know all about yourself Raelene!BMGS keep standing behind those few incompetent teachers, good on ya!!!Raelene i think we all know the school has problems, like most do. There is no perfect school. Yet some of the teachers at BMGS are very questionable as you know all about yourself too. I think that is all these parents are trying to say. Sadly we have few options but to move if we don't like it. Like most of the parents who had to relocate their children last year, and now unfortunately my son is in a composite class which isn't ideal but the school refused to address the parents issues with a few of the teachers. Am i disappointed in the school? Yes. But we are looking at other schools in the area and thats all we can do for those of us left. What other options do we have if the Principal wants to stand behind a few lazy incompetent teachers. We are the parents paying the fees we should be the ones that are being heard.

The school is a strange place. They have many facilities but seem to favourite school girls. They have many way of collecting kids, but this makes it more enjoyable for our teachers. We love our students deeply. My favourite students are in early learning. They are quite jiggly.Ben

Raelene everyone is entitled to there own opinion. For my family the school's standard just wasn't high enough!Our family have only recently moved all the way up here from Melbourne, well hasn't that been a ride!!!! We came from having our children in the TOP Catholic school in Melbourne to pretty much the pits in the Mountains. Don't even consider sending your children to this school. The people up here only send their kids to Blue Mountains Grammar School as there is no other private school in the mountains, except for the hippie commune/alternative types or the churchy schools that have 30 per class. Do your homework beforehand you have been warned. Im furious at the school i will tell anyone that listens this school is the pits!!!! There is approx 30 children leaving at the end of the year and won't be returning. Not surprised by that!!! I can't even begin to tell you the problems, just know you have been warned!I would NEVER recommend this school to anyone.

As a student, I love the school and would definitely recommend! Amazing teachers, students, grounds and overall an amazing place to obtain your education. There are a large range of after school (and in school hours) co-curricular sporting and academic opportunities.
