The Rocks Apartments

We stayed in Unit 1 - the spa bath room. It was a lovely spot. Close to town and major roads. Kitchen comes with kettle, microwave and portable stovetop. Aircon was great. Spa bath was great. Everything was very clean and tidy. Price was affordable too.The reception in the area is patchy so strong wifi is only available closer to town.

We were given a spacious 1 bedroom instead of a studio that we initially booked & was happy with it.Check in was easy & there was a nice allocated car spot as well.The unit was clean & is very minimalistic & spacious. The place heats & cools down quickly with the AC unit. There’s a nice cute fake fireplace that emits heat below the retractable TV.A kitchenette with 1 induction cooktop with basic kitchen utensils, fridge, toaster, microwave, kettle, coffee, tea, salt, pepper & oil are available on hand.If you’re lucky, you might get a glimpse of some emus or kangaroos from the kitchenette window.Bathroom comes with a spa with basic hotel style shampoo & body wash mini bottles & clean towels.The area is quiet at night & tucked away as well, but the Grampians in general is a bikie spot, so you’ll get a some loud motorbikes waking you up in the morning when they are heading out if they stayed in the same spot/within the vicinity.Comfortable bed with a hard & soft pillow for each person.The only minor grievances were:- There’s no hooks or cupboards to unpack & store your items & clothes in if you’re staying for over a day or 2.- Walls are quite thin so we could hear the neighbours talking when we retreated for the night.- The bedroom in the unit we stayed in is accessible to the accommodation’s office/cleaners room & we heard people at 7am, starting to get ready for the day, just a few feet away from us in the next room on our check out day.It made it a tad bit uncomfortable knowing someone has access to the room & place at any moment while guest are present or not, with no option for us to latch the door on the guests side of the door, just for that peace of mind.Overall, we were pleased with the accommodation.

If you want somewhere quiet and relaxing this is your place. Great weekend away with the husband and no kids

Great place close to the town/ city centre, for a decent price. Wifi works fine although streaming / youtube videos may lag a bit. Owners were accommodating for us when we wanted to change our booking a day earlier. Rooms were well maintained, although there seems to be quite a bit of moths / bugs around (due to the front door and bedroom having no fly screens).

We had a fantastic, relaxing weekend stay in our 1 bedroom apartment. It was clean, tidy and well set up. Provided everything we needed. 5 minute walk to the pub, 30 minute walk into Halls gap itself. We will definitely stay here again.

Bed uncomfortable, pillows to big/hard to use, other pillows way to soft, like they weren't there. Bathroom finish is poor, left over paint marks all over the place. Spa bath missing filter covers, wrong plug, easy to knock out, no shower curtain, shower head broke first use. No tv in bedroom, no fly screen on bedroom window and it was hot.. carpet needs changing as stains were unsightly.. not worth the rate we paid per night.. will not go back here again, we got the 1 bedroom, spa & wood fire unit. It was spacious but did not appeal to us..

Could not fault this accommodation. We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment and found it to be impeccably clean, the beds were very comfortable, its a spacious apartment and the electric fireplace was very romantic. Great price and close to town. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting fabulous accommodation! 5 Stars
