Many of the staff know me at this pharmacy and are always friendly and polite. I've had to telephone them several times over the last two days and every person that has answered the phone has been polite and not impatient, which helps to keep everyone calm in these trying times. There have been issues with the doctor surgery getting my prescriptions to them and they have not got annoyed with me calling but have suggested I call the surgery to get them to email my prescriptions as there has been issues with the faxing. They have always been accurate in filling my prescriptions which I cannot say about some of the other pharmacies that I have used when they have been closed.

Hi, I have been here before and was always happy with the pricing and the service. Today there was a problem and it was handled professionally and sensibly by the staff. For those of you unaware, as I was, Amcal will price match if they can, you just need to ask. ;-)

Staff are clearly told sell the highest priced item, grabbing the most expensive item without asking the customers budget. $33 for an item that on average is sold below $20 at every other chemist and when looking online there are 3 other suitable cheaper options actually sold at Amcal. Everytime I come in here I am ripped off. Worst part, it's for a INFANT who requires it for 3 days and then it's not required.Every.damn.time.

Do not have a fax machine only so doctor's can't fax through scripts

Disappointing! Every time if fill my scripts this year they have had to give me more expensive brands that my pension card does not fully cover, costing me at least $10 extra every month. This month they just tried to charge me full price ($66) declaring Medicare and Centrelink dont recognise my pension card triggering a panic. They insisted it wasn't their fault (that I had to pay)... but a voice from down the back said she'll check again. It went throug. I've been on a pension for years and this has never happened before. Then, when i got home my repeats were not in the bag so i had to ring them... after a long wait I was told all three scripts have run out and I need to go back to the doctor. I won't be going back.

Outstanding customer service! All the staff are lovely and friendly! There are a big variety of unique things to buy! They look after you from the moment that you first come in until the moment you leave the store! Very happy to start shopping there!

Always very busy at the pharmacy end but checked to see if they could help.
