Filo was yummy. Hot chips were crunchy! Singer and guitarist were great entertainment too!Thank you for a great night!

Just had a 2 night stay here it was lovely. The owners were so helpful and couldn't do enough to ensure our stay was relaxing and comfortable. The cabin was very clean and had all the mod cons we needed for the stay. Had a super tasty home cooked meal in the restaurant and woke to the sounds of nature at its finest. We will definitely be back.

Honestly this cafe was such a pleasant surprise and well worth the stop! We weren’t sure where to get lunch near Cape Tribulation - and stopped at this cafe not sure what to expect. I had the schnitzel, which was delicious, the wedges were the best I have ever had! My partner had the barramundi - which he could not fault!I am dreaming of the day I can come back to have those wedges again! Do yourself a favour and stop here for a pit stop or lunch!

LYNC HAVEN HOTEL RESTAURANT AND WILDLIFE CENTRE – Looking for cassowariesHaving worked up an appetite exploring Cape Tribulation, we stopped for lunch at the Lync Haven Hotel, Restaurant and wildlife park. The BLT was beyond luscious but to be surrounded by all these various birds, roaming freely and see the carpet python, blackheaded python and water python was fabulous. We spoke to Justin, one of the rangers there and he told us of some walking trails we could go on through the adjoining caravan park as he had just minutes before seen a cassowary. It was not to be, although we walked for over an hour and actually ended up at one point on the neighbouring property of Daintree Tea. (they grow their own tea!) We did, however, get to see the cutest joey in his mother’s pouch in an enclosure near the restaurant – too sweet for words.

Very nice place to have dinner. The food was very tasty and well priced for this part of Australia.The location is very nice and when you’re sitting outside you can see all sort of birds. The owner is very passionate about the animals and it was nice to see snakes and birds inside the venue

Dinner was an absolutely awesome experience. The burger I had was brilliant and the oceans delight was perfect! There was a generous amount of seafood on the plate and it was cooked beautifully. I also ordered a coffee and I loved how it was in a man sized mug! The staff were very nice and friendly.

Nothing like the photos anymore. There's no heart in this place and everything was disappointing from the staff energy to the food to the dilapidated sad dark bird cage and no animals around like the photos show.
