Incredible view, amazing food and wine!! Even tried the “rocky Jones” house gin made by the brothers and it was amazing. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Will definitely be visiting again and again.

We were staying in nearby Capel Sound, looking for a nice lunch option. Very pleasant surprise! View is spectacular and we were greeted by David who was very attentive and friendly. We shared a pizza with artichokes, brie cheese, Ham and Chilli as well as some bolognese arancini. Both were very good. We also enjoyed the Chardonnay and pinot noir which perfectly accompanied the great food. Only downside is the lack of maintenance and a feeling of lack of care of the building, blinds and furniture which is strewn about the deck above and left out to weather. We will happily return in the warmer months.

My friend and I came here for lunch on a Saturday and loved it. Amazing views and beautiful venue. Service was very attentive and the food was delicious, we had a prawn pizza and beetroot salad. I will definitely be back.

We came here for Mothers Day lunch and I couldn’t fault the place, I’m shocked that this place only has a 3 Star review. The food was absolutely delicious, it came out quickly and the service was flawless. I asked if I could get some chilli oil to accompany my seafood linguine and was offered a special home made chill oil. Will definitely be back

I honestly love this venue. The views are spectacular and I always recommend this place to my friends. But today I have to say I was really disappointed. I recognize the challenges in hospitality at the moment and more specifically down the peninsula, all I ask is for some pro-active service and honesty. Tell us that entree will be an hour, be honest when a main never comes and 1 of 6 of the guests eats after everyone else has finished. And most of all own it. Apologise and recognize. Please do better because I really want to return

Had an interesting experience at Blue Range Estate. The views are spectacular, and the atmosphere felt inviting and homely. The rest of the experience was disappointing however. The glass of wine ordered was warm, flat and tasted old. We were told, after ordering, that the kitchen had run out of pizza dough. We waited quite a long time for our order to arrive, and when it did, the portion sizes were questionable for the price we paid. The staff weren’t very apologetic in any of these instances, even talking back at us when we told them about our experience. Therefore, on a whole, we were quite disappointed by the lack of sympathy given for poor service and the dismal quality of the food (given the price tag).

Came with a big group of people, and for $60 a head for a three course meal with no opportunity to choose your own meals, it was a huge let down. A handful of prosciutto, a handful of calamari and 1 slice of bread for entree, a very small serving of lamb sharing style and shoestring fries for main and a tiny piece of Cannoli filled with fizzy expiring filling for desert. Drinks are NOT included in this price. Staff were all friendly enough, but not confident in what they were doing. At one point the waiter came over with bread and said to our vegan guest “the bread is vegan, I think” and laughed and walked off. Not very knowledgeable or willing to accommodate to dietary requirements. $60 for the food we received was just poor, we’ll all be getting takeaway afterwards to actually fill us up! Nice view though, I assume that’s what we’re paying for.

A booking of 25 people for an already postponed Hens, we excitedly arrived to Blue Range Estate eager to celebrate our bride to be. Instead we were met with closed gates and a sign informing us of their closure due to a positive case, with zero communication of this being relayed to us prior to our arrival. Our booking was previously secured with a $350 deposit and final confirmation was made with the venue a week out from the event. With all our guests travelling a minimum of an hour to get there, some even up to 3 hours, you can imagine our anger and frustration as everyone arrived alongside us to the closed venue. On top of the lack of communication, our initial attempts at calling the owner for clarification on how this could’ve occurred were left unanswered before finally reaching him only to be told “he didn’t want to close” and “forgot to let us know”. Extremely disappointing and will not be attending this venue again.

The view is absolutely amazing however that is where the experience ends. The front of house staff were unhelpful when we were choosing our wine however fortunately we made the right choice and it was OK - not memorable but OK. We ordered three grazing plates -the bruschetta was quite nice and the calamari was fresh however the cheese platter was less than impressive. Very minimalistic, no fruit and the choice of cheese disappointing and surprising - who serves ricotta on a cheese platter? Take the trip to admire the view - take your photos and skip the rest.

Called in for a quick lunch last Saturday. Great ambience, staff friendly and good service. Food presentation excellent - all our meals were full of colour, inviting and delish. We washed our lunch down with a nice cold and crisp Rose and then headed to the Cellar Door. Good size menu to choose from without beinig overwhelmed - something for all tastes. We will be back and hopefully on a nice day to appreciate the views of the bay.
