EKFA Wing Chun & Tai Chi

My 5 year old son has been attending Kung Fu classes at Eastern Kung Fu Academy since September 2015 and absolutely loves it! Since he started it has brought him out of his shell and given him a lot of self confidence. It's also given him the ability to focus and develop better at kinder and school. Sifu Peter Atkin is a fabulous teacher and is extremely dedicated to developing each and every student.

My son and I have been attending EKF for a month. It is exactly the atmosphere and phylosophy I was looking for. Accepting, friendly and focused on personal growth. I have noticed improvement in my overall health and use the practice time at home as a form of meditation and deep focus. It has prompted me to be more active in keeping my physical and mental state balanced. Thanks Sifu.I wanted to add a special note. Since joining EKF I have not visited the Osteopath. I would typically get back pain and need some treatment. With the core training added to sessions, I feel better each week and have had almost no pain in months. I see it as a preventative measure. It's an investment in my health and it's paying off!

Amazing place to train and learn. Everyone is very friendly and kind and Sifu Peter is a very nice guy. Highly recommend for everyone of all ages!

My 4 year old son has just started taking kung fu classes and it quickly became his favorite class. I love the professionalism, knowledge and friendliness of the teacher Peter. But also love that he is strict and gently points out if the student did good or not so good. Great pricing and convenient location. Highly recommended!!

Our boys now 5 and 7 having been attending Eastern Kung Fu Academy with Sifu Peter for over 18 months and they absolutely love it! They are much more fit, coordinated, focused and disciplined. An amazing school. Sifu Peter is so knowledgeable, and explains everything really clearly. Lots of variety in classes, plus sparring. The students are all friendly and approachable, and happy to help with questions, techniques, or just comparing notes.I really enjoy the emphasis on practical application of the techniques.

I originally chose this academy because reviews from parents all talked about how their children had been attending for years and how their confidence had grown. I've now signed up for lifetime membership and both of my kids attend classes too. My youngest, still in primary school tries to attend as many weekly classes as we can practically fit in - he says he especially enjoys the games and work on the balance beam. Both Sifu Peter and Michael are top notch teachers who can guide young and old with supportive instruction and humour. Personally this was my way out of the pandemic - to move and loose weight, learn something I'd been wanting to do for years, join a community and get out there : )Thankyou Sifu Peter and Sifu Michael.
