Best barbers I've been to in Australia. Big thanks to Bella for sorting me out! Would highly recommend to anyone.

The team was great here. The music was excellent and they made me feel comfortable. Was a little bit pricey compared to what I'm used to but got a hot towel massage so that made up for it.

The barber didn’t do a traditional “cut throat” so disappointing it shouldn’t have to be something you ask for it should be known that’s what a barber does.Shaping my beard was uneven and missed some hairs. I needed to go somewhere else to get it fixed.Good atmosphere and friendly staff but can only rate 2 stars based on my experience I wouldn’t go back for a beard trim. Hopefully this is taken as constructive criticism and from now on the “cut throat” technique can be implemented and the standard is set at a higher level.

What a great little barber shop. Arrived in Cairns in desperate need of a haircut and a beard trim. After a search on google I decided on Shortys barber shop. Got there at about 9 am and found due to staff shortages the hours had changed.No worries, went and got some breakfast returned at 10. Walked straight in and onto a chair. An excellent young bloke gave me a great haircut and beard trim.Great friendly staff and owner. Recommend this business highly.

If you're looking to go from scruffy homeless person to dapper gentleman, Shorty's Barber Shop is the place for you. I mean, I walked in looking like I had been living under a bridge for the past year, and I walked out looking like a million bucks (well, at least a few hundred bucks).The owner, Lianne, knows her way around a pair of scissors like nobody's business. She snipped and clipped and shaved and styled until I looked like I could walk the runway at Paris Fashion Week. And let me tell you, the other homeless people were jealous.So if you're looking for a good laugh, a great haircut, and a chance to go from scruffy to suave, head on down to Shorty's Barber Shop in Cairns. Lianne and her crew will have you looking like a million bucks (or at least your hair will, they unfortunately can't fix an ugly face).

This is our second time coming here to get my teen boy's hair cut. Not needing to make an appointment is awesome but what's even better is seeing the confidence boost a fresh style gives my kiddo as he walks out. See you again next month!

Really good value in the heart of cairns city with nice plants and accommodates for international tourists holiday adventures with a cool map on the wall showing where people have come and visited from!

I've been to Shorty's once before and was trimmed by the boss herself! I was a little wary when coming in to find her not there, but got an awesome cut from new member Bella. The Cairns weather wasn't treating her kindly but she sure treated my hair and beard with kindness. Brilliant job and excellent value!
