Immersion Mixed Martial Arts

I have been training in this gym since 2019. It is an amazing experience. I got stronger and more confidently not just physically but mentally, from scared of talking and socialising with people to feeling calm with knowing people and making friends. The coaches Keith and David are amazing who are very friendly, kind and patient. I never feel bored when training. They give tons of advice when training, which makes training more effectively. I benefit a lot, especially mentally. For example, when training, I was always scared of sparring, which made me frozen when dealing with my opponent. The coach seemed find out and say Fear is the thing you make up in your mind. Deal with the moment when happens."Anyway

Honest and friendly gym, they don't lock you in to a contract and they are up front about their fee structure. I had to suspend a couple of times due to work, injury, and holidays and they never batted an eye. They are definitely all about the training and not about sucking money from you like a lot of other gyms. You feel like a member of the team rather than a customer.The standard of training is one of the best around, they have very impressive competition results and focus on advanced and beginners alike. The facilities are clean and schmick.An incredibly fast and fun way to get in great shape fast. I can't recommend enough.Just do it, you have nothing to lose.

I've been attending Immersion doing the Muay Thai classes for 6 months now starting as a total beginner at the age of 32. I wish I had of done this a decade ago!The gym, facilities and equipment are fantastic, the trainers are excellent and the sense of community and inclusion was there from day 1.Keith is everything you want in a trainer and is able to make you laugh your way through gruelling workouts and gives the right balance of tough love and keeping you in your challenge zone. Not only is he very experienced but he has the magical ability to identify and communicate exactly what you need to do in order improve which is often lost on high level coaches who forget what it's like to be a newbie.Night sessions with Mee and Jenny are also terrific and the opportunity to work on the fundamentals in safe environment with other beginners or try your hand at sparring with the more experienced members allows you to get comfortable with the basics then go and try them out. Awesome stuff.The other members are all very welcoming and without sounding cliche, it's like one big family. Everyone is there to learn, looks after each other and it's a great way to meet new people.If you've never done martial arts before and you're considering it, Immersion offers a fantastic program and I highly recommend coming down for a trial.

Muay Thai coaches Mee, Kahow and Jenny are professional and very friendly. Classes are suitable for all levels and the gym environemnt is safe, welcoming and super respectful.

Awesome gym, friendly coaches/staff and great atmosphere. Very knowledgeable coaches with high level BJJ but also a great place for beginners to learn too. I highly recommend you check it out!

Stopped by the gym while on vacation in Australia. Asked if I could drop in for a class and was welcomed with open arms! Absolutely fantastic place and great people if you get a chance to check this place out it’s well worth your time. Thanks again everyone for allowing me to train with you!

I tried many gyms before finding Immersion MMA, and there are many very good gyms around Melbourne but few are exceptional. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the coaches are extremely skilled and professional and make learning fun and rewarding. They continue to coach and develop members long after joining and are approachable for beginners and advanced students. The only thing better than starting your Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu journey, is starting it here. See you on the mats...

I joined Immersion around 6 years ago. Having been to different gyms in Melbourne and overseas, I can confidently say that this gym is world class.The coaches are both one of the best in the world, and yet, also are great and encouraging with beginners.What also makes a great gym is the people. You’ll find people from all walks of life here, which you’ll find out as soon as you step through the doors.Couldn’t recommend this gym enough.

I'm a Brown Belt from another club, 10 years of training and international competitor. Due to us not having an accessible kids class due to our living arrangements our 12yo can't train with us consistently. We searched for quite a while to find a suburban club that was both enjoyable for him and had technically proficient instruction. The kids class here is absolutely first rate and Ben is a wonderful instructor. The atmosphere is excellent and the level of kids coming out of this club speaks for itself. Highly recommend for anyone in Glen Waverley.
