Aged Oak Wide Floors

It’s such a shame that the service is such a disaster! The quality of the boards are amazing, but I have never dealt with such a disorganised, unprofessional company in all my life! They have no idea what they are doing and EVERYTHING has to be run past the boss before anything can be done. If you want great floor boards but you are willing to be messed around for weeks or months, then go with these guys, but if you don’t have the patience, avoid at all costs!

It was an absolute nightmare. My grandfather had asked me to find a timber flooring installer, and I came to this small business as to help out in such a time of need. Despite some of the negative reviews, you can best judge a company by your direct experience. I found their service to be first class. I had place an order several month ago and, due to a change of priorities on site, needed the flooring delivered asap. I visited European Timber Floors showroom at 3pm requesting earliest possible delivery - and received it to site lunchtime the following day, with frequent communication during this time. This certainly exceeded my expectations and was greatly appreciated.

My grandson i believe has already left a review on here. I decided I must write my own as it was truly and nightmarishly experience for me. Firstly, parts of my flooring had been left unattended to and completely naked for a few days, in our discussion on which flooring would be used. This was because initially, I had planned on installing a mahogany flooring, however, Jason had only contacted me after he had ripped the floor that this was unavailabl. This was both inconvenient and I had felt uncared about. Secondly, the sheer communicative ability of Jason was so lackluster that I was unable to contact him for 2-3 days to setup times of work. This had lead to an extremely messy and unprofessional situation whereby it was almost impossible to schedule timing for the work to be completed.Overall, I recommed ANYONE avoid working with this business. I have taken such issues up with ASIC, and will keep anyone updated.

I had spoken to 3 other flooring companies who had all quoted me exceedingly high costs and unnecessarily recommended full replacement of carpets throughout the whole house.Aged Oak floors not only found a far more cost effective solution, they also completed the job in 2 days instead of 7. The owner Jason and his team are all fantastic communicators, reliable, efficient and honest. I always felt well informed, looked after and valued. I have absolutely no hesitation recommending them.

Jason is a complete crook. He supplied rubbish warped timber and caused me months and months of stress which ended with an incomplete, bodgy job that has to be totally redone. If you value your health and bank account, STAY AWAY!!!!

Engineered timber floors are a nightmare to decide on who to select.First you have a mix of retailers, installers and manufactures all vying for your business. All with different construction, different thickness, as well as different finishes and to top it off a spectrum of different colours. Who do you believe? I still don't know the answer.Well after nearly wearing out a pair of shoes we were recommended to Aged Oak Wide Floors. Having had an engineered floor in a previous home I had lots of questions from that experience.They answered all the questions I had and the colour we were after.Delivery was on time and coincided with the arrival of Gary & Jan, the install team. Two tradesman from the opposite side of Europe who worked as a clockwork team, congenial attitude and professional approach to their work.Due to Aged Oak Wide Flooring`s close tolerance machining they are able to choose a fine chamfered edge. This process of manufacturing leaves an almost seamless floor, only the natural grain of the boards identifying the individual planks.The boards are only light wire brushed which will not hold dirt, making the floor easier to clean.A great job, thank you to all Jason's team working together.

We are so happy with the quality and colour of our beautiful timber flooring! We have had so many people ask us what it is and where we sourced it from as it is so unique and beautiful. Emma and Jason were so helpful and professional - would highly recommend them to anyone!!

Jason and his team installed our gorgeous floor nearly 5 years ago.I decided to go with the Wide Aged Upper West Side - everyone was worried about the floor being dark with scratches, dog hair and kids etc.I still get lots of lovely comments from visitors and whats more is still looks great and gorgeous! And pretty easy to look after.

These oak boards are so beautiful, I chose Limed Sandstone and they look authentic and natural. Emma and Jason go out of their way with a great advice and excellent service. If you are considering timber floors I would highly recommend them.I am very happy with my boards the house was transformed. They were very easy to lay over an old pine floor, our builder had no problems and the new Limed Sandstone look amazing.
