I personally found and kill confirmed 4 moderate size cane toads here. It is a decent hunting ground in my proffesional opinion, however my personal opinion - not so much.

Gorgeous place for a stroll ad a swim. Dog friendly and kid friendly. Excellent facilities, including toilets, picnic tables and a playground. 10+ km of walking track

Great creek with lots of shallow areas for sitting on a hot day. The bottom tends to be rocky, so reef shoes or thongs are advisable. There are also a few sandy banks which line the creek, making entry easy for younger and older people. Depending on where you go, I would advise wearing insect repellent as mosquitos can be a problem. Great place for skimming rocks!

pretty good as long as you find a good spot. Best time is a week or so after heavy rain. Rain washes all the leaves away so the water's clean.
