My Vets Irrawang

Can’t thank the staff of Irrawang Veterinary Hospital enough. So friendly, accommodating, efficient and professional from the initial contact phone call all the way through the appointment to the time my four legged family member and I left. Will definitely be returning when the need arises. Thank you so much!

We have been visiting Irrawang vet over many years and have always found them very professional people who meet your every needs. They greet you with a happy smile and ensure you always leave completely satisfied with the service they provide.

The staff were extremely prompt and super friendly. My husky was dramatic and the staff were so empathetic and sincere when interacting with him (they were also super generous with treats which greatly helped)We were in and out quickly, and the staff were just so great and attentive. Couldn’t recommend them highly enough ♥️

The Irrawang MyVet staff are the kindest and gentlest team. They gave us 4 more wonderful months with our beautiful dog Cody, who was suffering with cancer. Every visit with them was always pleasant, and their staff exceeded any experiences we have had in the past with vet hospitals. These comforting visits with them lasted all the way to Cody’s last day. We are so grateful for all they have done to help our boy, thank you very much for everything you have done. I could not recommend this vet hospital enough.

The level of professionalism, care and compassion shown by the veterinarians and the team, in our experience over four years, in our little dog's senior years, was second to none. Highly recommend.

I can only give 3 stars, thought about it long and hard, service, reception and care was or appeared to be okay, cost was the biggest issue, unbelievable. I have attached invoices and compared to 2 Australia pet medicine suppliers that will sell to the public with a script.Mirtazapine 15mg $34.50 for 4 tablets or $8.65 per tablet (Irrawang Vet - Markups 4,225 - 2,521%),(Discountpetmeds) $5.99 per box or 20 cents per tablet.(Petchemist) $9.95 per box or 33 cents per tablet.Felimazole 5mg $121.31 (Irrawang Vet - markups 142-147%) other chemists $48.99 and $49.95.Vetmedin 2.5 50 tablets $101.78 (Irrawang Vet - markup 81%) , other chemists $55.95.On the visit today, when advised would be recommending more medicine, I asked how much because the last lot was expensive, Vet said, this one is cheap and didn't tell me the price, this is the one with the $8.65 per tablet compared to the 20 cents and 33 cents from other suppliers.Whilst the care might be okay, with fees like this, I can't help but wonder what else I am being over charged on and if this is an indication of service, I am hesitant to go back again and will shop around more being more informed now.Irrawang Vets did call after I removed the photos of the invoices as google was stopping the review from being displayed. Irrawang tried to justify the prices saying they don't buy at those retail prices and listed every expense they could to justify the price of the medicine. Said yes, they do have a markup and make a profit on the medicine. When questioned about the 4,225% markup for the 4 tablets, seemed to say that was reasonable. Perhaps the fair trading might think otherwise.

The only difficulty I experienced was Molly gets so excited around humans and other pets she's hard to hang on too. She's a little Pocket Rocket.

So glad I’ve found this clinic. All the staff are so friendly and helpful.Nurse Angela was absolutely amazing and so kind to my girls. She went above and beyond what was required of her and I am so grateful that Pippa gets this level of care!
