My husband has been a client of Anglicare for 9 years, he is disabled due to a brain tumour and today he was nearly brought to tears due to the complete lack of understanding by your totally incompetent scheduling staff in Toowoomba. I am his wife and full time carer and this totally disgusts me.

I appreciate a few and the sorry minority of residents may like the Anglicare commercial - but my parent (86) is deeply insulted along with her peers that watching a video of Danny Boy and other songs would be the ‘primary message’ of Anglicare.To them and myself, this message demonstrates the ongoing patronising and condescending message that aged care organisations continue to engender throughout their Institutions.A clearly misdirected advertising directive of part of Anglicare marketing, who continue to remain disconnected from their residents in this and so many other ways.

Absolutely nothing out there compared to the help I got from Anglicare concerning the huge costs involved in moving into your own place. Salvation army helped me with a quarter of what Anglicare did. And Anglicare offered ongoing help. IF YOU ARE GOING TO DONATE? GIVE TO ANGLICARE BEFORE ANY OTHER ENTITY. They really do the work that matters. Awesome! I'm so grateful.
