Telarah Dog Off-Leash Area

A decent enough spot to get the dogs off the leash. Not the best neighbourhood, and can be littered with anything from old food rubbish to burning cars, so keep a close eye on your dog (and maybe your back). Not many amenities available, may have to look elsewhere nearby.

It's about time dog parks started opening around the hunter. Keep it up councils...

Terrible off leash dog area. Its more an area that has no real use so lets it go to the dogs.I have seen some poor attemps at dog park area but this takes the cake. There is one bin located far away from an area where it would be sensible. And this has mostly shopping trolleys around it and the bin is discusting and old. The land is rocky and dry. And when it rains it turns into a swamp. There are few trees for shade and no place for a dog to get a drink. There is a another park accross the road off Goodlet St but this is not much better.The silver lining to this cloud is the local council has been made aware of these issue and plan to address it.........within 3-5 years. And ill hold my breath for their results.The only good point is that mans best friend has simple tastes and wants. So its a large area and plenty to sniff and loads of room to run. Some kind neighborhood local does leave a bucket of water out up top. So thank you to them. I use this area as i have so few choices and the dogs need the exercise.Hope the council fixes this issue soon

Always plenty of room to play with your pooch as well as water if needed, just remember to bring your own container.

Nice piece of common land to walk your dog. Surrounded by properties, but the remaining 5% is not fenced in. Don't expect to see other dogs there, but nice for a few games of fetch and a run around. Watch out for snakes in summer.

Poor ducks (who live there) having to put up with being chased by dog who have owners who have no control over their dogs. Witness it on a regular basis. live VERY close to it. I am getting ready to call rspca. Keep your animals under control.
