Had the steak special with no expectations and it really surprised me on the up side. Steak was well cooked and juicy. Chips were so so and salad was not bad. Overall I great meal for $15.

My girlfriends and I often grab a bite from here whenever trivia is on, but this time around, it was just for a chill and catch-up time. We ordered a bunch of food and shared it amongst ourselves and had a great time. We enjoyed the time because the food was great. (this visit was over 6 months ago)

Menus changed a bit from what it was. I'm going to miss the salmon witb potatoes as the newy john dory dish doesn't really hit the same spot. The Caesar salad had a bit too generous amount of source and pepper but it's better than not having enough!The online ordering system doesn't include the daily specials but nice to see after covid we can still get a decently priced meal.

Ordered schnitzel and some steaks (medium rare). All portions were little for its price as well as the food quality wasn't up to standard. Steaks were undercooked, cold, and took long to come out. Schnitzel was stale seemed old. Had to ask two steaks to be re-cooked. Overall quite unhappy.

Visited on Tuesday 20th SeptemberIt's been awhile since I've ordered their special Tuesday's Rump Steak menu.And unfortunately, no improvement at all, even after the lockdown, staff changes, price changes, etc.What a major letdown.The steak we ordered was supposed to be a 220g rump, but look at the size differences. The taste is OMG not amazing and chewy. Just because it's on the special menu, it doesn't matter even when you order it as not on special, the portion differs from person to person.Thought they did it right this time with Medium Rare, unfortunately the quality is just not there. Very disappointing.Side portions have heavily reduced. Possibly due to a lot of wastage by other patrons. The side sauces (mushroom and pepper) was also a let down, it's microwaved but still wasn't very liquidy.Service was amazing though. Staff greetings are very helpful and patient.We visited during business hours so thankfully no kids were running around.Yeah I said that, I've seen kids run around the dining area and they're only controlled by security telling the adult group to ensure it doesn't happen again.

Customer Service was friendly, however got food poisoning from stake and pork crackle.My family and I dined on Saturday the 1st of April, and believe we got food poisoning. Not going to list the juicy details here, but we are throwing up and struggle to stomach the simplest of dishes the following day. Reconsider when purchasing various meat dishes.

Went to the new Lloyds Bistro upstairs in the Upper Quarter for lunch today, and it was 'okay'. The arrangement of ordering meals around the corner from the lobby area is just... weird?? But the drinks bar is around the corner, and then food comes out from the behind big doors mystery cooking area?Play area was ok, nothing exciting but the kids enjoyed it enough, so I guess it works.Food wise, came out at reasonable timeframe but quality wise, it was fairly ordinary for the price. The Roast Beef was ok, but the gravy was really... thin... lacked much flavour, very flat. 3 slices of roast was ok, good sized slices, and reasonable amount of vegetables.The adult fish and chips were 2 pieces of fish, but while crispy, were also very very oily. Passable.The kids portion was $3 less with 1 less piece of fish, no salad, no lemon (they're meant to get a slice of lemon with theirs too!), so it was a bit sad.It was fine if you don't actually have expectation on a quality bistro meal. Kind of like a mid-range pub lunch, but priced a little bit more for the roast than you might find at the pub.

A great place for a family dinner and to bring the kids to play on the Kids Quarter.Water fountains with fresh drinking water are available in the area, and there are restrooms nearby as well as a changing table.

The previous setup on the ground floor was much better. I go there only because of the kids area these days. Also food quality has gone down for some reason. Dooley's more focused on gambling profits these days :( just my guess...

This locates inside the Dooleys Catholic Club in Lidcombe. Perhaps they want to be offer different style of food, but some ends in disaster. The Korean chicken was the worst, followed by the Mexicana Chicken. The fish and pork were more traditional and were fine. The service was good with food delivered to the table. Prices are reasonable.
