Max Therapy

I will share my experience. I was scared at first place because I read the reviews below. When I arrived there were a person that could speak English and explained what I would get with my Scoopon voucher. Inside the room it wasn't freezing, I believed it had a small heater on. The massage was very good and my back feels amazing. I believe the company took the previous bad feedback onboard to improve. I will definitely go back. Obviously it is not a 5 star resort, but for the price we are paying, I was quite satisfied.

DO NOT GO HERE! This place is a DISGRACE! My partner and I had a confirmed booking in writing for 6pm as part of a birthday present. Once we got there the place was closed. I rang the manager whom I had made the booking with, half way through me explaining the situation she hung up without hesitation or explanation then blocked my number so i couldnt ring back. I know she blocked me because the same number was ringing when I rang it off my partners phone. Complete unprofessionalism and negligence for its customers.

I went there before and the massage was good. The second time I was really disappointed, the girl started the massage and suddenly stayed for long period pinching the skin, wasting time. I thought it was my impression but then I heard a woman next to my room complaining about the services and she requested the refund.

Worst experience my partner and i gave ever had . We booked on groupon we were clear about what we wanted with staff. When we arrived we were made to wait 40 min for a room . We had a booking. When massage finally got under way they refused to massage firmly, unless we paid 40 dollars extra. We then said that we had spoken to them prior to massage and they were not giving us what we had paid for . Staff was rude and aggressive. We left the premises. I would recommend that anyone thinking of massage therapy steer clear of max therapy southgate . They have refused to refund our money.

I purchased groupon voucher and booked in for the 70min hot oil massage for 2 people, only to receive a text message from them the following week saying they will not be honouring this voucher and i should try to get my money back from groupon. Very unprofessional as the voucher was valid for few more months and i found it hard to believe they could not reschedule.

I booked via Groupon and would rate this as a good massage for the price paid. Staff are professional and polite. The pressure of my massage was quite light and some areas that I thought would be included weren't, e.g feet and head/neck. However, it was still very relaxing and enjoyable.The shop is nothing fancy, quite plain so it's good if you're after an affordable, no frills massage.It was easy to rebook my massage (originally booked for during lockdown) so really appreciate the staff reaching out to rebook for me.Thanks again for a nice massage :)

If you inform them that you are booking with a Groupon voucher, don't expect any availability within the next fortnight. They also don't speak much English and communicating with them was just frustrating.The massage I had was terrible. Fifteen minutes of it was just the therapist leaving the hot stones on my back and went out to chat. The rest of it was just poor techniques with little pressure. And as mentioned by previous comments, the towel are moist and sticky and smells funny.Oh, did I forget to mentioned that the massage was not even in a room, just a corner at the shop front with plastic room dividers! There was loud construction noises from time to time and you can hear the front desk staff chatting and customers talking.The hand sanitizers they had was so watery that I doubt whether the content of the bottle was replaced by some other liquids.in a nutshell: avoid

Really great massages. I saw Carol, my friend saw Paolo and they were both excellent. Very responsive and tailored the treatment to my needs.just the thing before or after a long flight. The place is not glamorous but it's clean and comfortable. well worth the cost, which was reasonable.

Very bad experience. I was really looking forward to finish it. Rooms are very cold indeed, you can hear the noise from outside, the phone constantly ringing, the towel are rough, they feel like rug on your skin.The girl who made the massage was good, it is the whole environment that does t let you relax at all. When I went out I was feeling much worse than before...
