Tried the Pad Thai and it was ok! Almost everything is self-serve here. Outdoor environment so it can get hot in summer.

Simple and good flavors. Menu was reasonably priced and the food was flavorful.Food was delivered to our table really quickly. Service was great.

If you dine in, it does have a really nice setting.As a takeaway however, it is average at best.First occasion I had the seafood Tom Yum. Unlike the photo on the menu showing large mussels and chunky, scored squid pieces as you usually do, what I got was a pretty thin soup with some marinara mix thrown in, complete with rubbery squid rings; at $3 more than advertised online! Looks like prices have risen not once but at least twice since they were published.Then today I had the Pad Thai. Ok-ish, but at checkout instead of the $17.90 displayed on the menu right there in the shop, the lady tried to ring up well over $20!If you’re here and this is all that’s open, for sure. But I don’t think I’ll make this my local.

During our recent visit to Karunda, we stumbled upon a true gem of a Thai cafe while searching for a lunch spot after enjoying the Skyrail experience. The Tom Yum seafood soup my wife ordered and the Thai beef salad I had were both exceptional dishes. Bursting with authentic flavors, they showcased the culinary mastery of the cafe's chefs. The friendly service added to the overall delightful experience. This hidden treasure is a must-visit for anyone craving outstanding Thai cuisine in Karunda.

It’s real authentic thai food, I recommend this restaurant. It’s a bit hidden at the back of the buiding but when I saw the picture of menu, I realized that are very authentic thai. It’s taste, no deputableoriginally taste. I ordered stirred fried basil with minced chicken ontop with fried egg on steamed rice, yes, it’s real Pad Kaprao that thai people eat. It’s also have fish sauce with fresh chopped chilli , mixed with lemon juice. That makes my meal more real Pad Kra prao.

We had Pad Thai with Vegetable and Prawns. They were pretty delicious and quite fresh.I also had a Spring Roll with Vegetable that was quite nice. A bit oily, but it was overall OK.I would suggest you to have the Iced Tea with Leomon. It was really tasty and nice with the minimum sugar.

I recently dined at Thai Kai Cafe in Kuranda and was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The food was absolutely delicious and came out quickly, which was great as I was quite hungry. The flavors were authentic and well-balanced, and I really enjoyed the variety of dishes on the menu. The cocktails were also amazing. The staff were friendly and attentive, and I felt well taken care of throughout my meal. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and I would highly recommend Thai Kai Cafe to anyone looking for delicious Thai food in Kuranda. I will definitely be back!
