Berwick Village Dry Cleaning & Laundry

Today I called into Berwick Village Dry Cleaning at about 1pm to pick up a jumpsuit I was having dry cleaned for my nephew's wedding tomorrow. It was a $400 Saba jumpsuit that I had only worn once. To my horror I discovered that during the dry cleaning process the dye from, what I was told, was cheap black lining had bled onto the white bodice and turned it a horrible dirty pink colour. I was told to come back at 5pm as they would try and fix the problem. I returned at 5pm to find the owner was on his sewing machine. After being unable to remove the staining or try and buy me a new one the same, he had made an entire new white bodice for the jumpsuit with every detail taken care of including sewing the label back on and the hanging straps! It looks like brand new, see photo attached. After feeling very upset, let down and thinking the jumpsuit was ruined, I am left feeling overwhelmed with gratitude with the lengths the owner(s) took to make the jumpsuit look brand new again. It is very rare to find people who would go to such extreme lengths to ensure customer satisfaction. Thank you so much. A VERY happy customer.

I presented this shop with an interesting challenge in taking out pet urination on my linen suit and red wine on the sleeve. Essentially, I wanted them to restore my suit to its former glory . On the day of collection, I inspected both the jacket and the pants thoroughly, holding them up to sunlight and could not fault their work. No visible discolouration, the red wine stain completely gone. This work deserved a gentleman's hand shake. Thank you again.

I had an evening gown that needed alterations and the staff were so amazing and helpful. They knew exactly what the dress needed and it was returned to me really fast! I have consistently good service from this dry cleaner, even on my vintage clothes. They treat all items of clothing with respect and care. Recently they expertly cleaned and boxed my wedding dress for safe keeping too. I am very pleased with their service.

Amazing customer service and outstanding quality!! I was so impressed!!I dropped off a large coat with faux fur trim on a Friday morning and needed it quite quickly. Initially they said Tuesday, however he then said Monday at a stretch when I asked if it could trash for pick up Monday morning. Surprisingly, I get a text message the same Friday afternoon saying it was ready!! I’m so happy with the quality of the clean and the service from the staff. Will definitely be using again for future!!!
