The rudest vet, man, and staff I have ever had an interaction with. I highly recommend not attending this business. There are many other vets in the area who will treat you and your pets with care and respect. Outrageous behaviour. After speaking to other people in the area they also have agreed. Honestly unbelievable!

We’ve been delighted with the wonderful care and attention Dr Rohan & the amazing nurses have given our two much loved cats: 15 year Claudio and 13 year old Romeo over many years. First with Claudio and surgery to repair his ruptured anterior cruciate ligament. Claudio is now strutting around bigger and better than ever before. Secondly and most recently with Romeo over a number of visits. Dr Rohan used all his knowledge and experience to diagnose and treat an obscure illness that caused Romeo to become seriously ill, stop eating, lose considerable weight and leave us fearing the worse. Dr Rohan made himself available over the Christmas and new year break to closely monitor Romeo, arrange and interpret blood test results and provide regular, easy to understand updates. He did all of this with his usual empathy, professionalism and courtesy.

We sought help regarding and issue at this vet in January - we were already a client .A diagnosis was given and even though we sought continued help again and again for the issue we were fibbed off and made to feel responsible for the continued issues with our dogs skin. We suggested things that could help her and the vet agreed - why she didn’t suggest them I have no idea . The clinic seemed more interested in charging $100 for a quick 5 min look at our dog , this was followed by buy this food , buy that shampoo and also heres more antibiotics ( $100 for 20 tablets - you can buy 300 of the same tablets online for $100 with a vet script ) we also Received ample judgment every time we went - a continued , “ you’re not washing her enough “ - we were washing every day at their request .It was only after months and thousands of $ that via a tearful conversation that the vet mentioned she had NEVER ACTUALLY SWABBED THE DOGS INFECTED SKIN. Even though she had ample opportunity to do so whilst the dog was in her care and sedated making a swab easy .We took her to another vet - who sadly informed us that she had essentially been untreated for months and was ravaged by a bacterial infection. The bacteria was an antibiotic resistant strain - he could tell this just by a quick check under his in-house microscope - something this clinic could have done , but they didn’t bother .We have tried to fight back with a round of correct level antibiotics to no avail - she willNot make it and we are left having to make hard sad choices as she has suffered enough due to the sheer neglect and lack of vet care provided by this clinic .way

Terrible and unprofessional!I have been going to this clinic for 8 years and the previous Vet, our loved Jeff was brilliant 5 star Dr. Since the clinic was sold to the new practitioner/s it went down the hill in service and care. With two adopted cats and one dog, we had plenty opportunities to experience the care.Ignoring the fresh cigaret smell of the Vet, because I’m trying not to discriminate. (But why trust Dr who smokes?!)Strike one: when our second rescue cat got treated here for a cat flue that he picked up in the shelter, the Vet said to us that it is exact cat their daughter is looking for and they would be happy to take it of us if we change mind since it’s sick. (we are madly worried about our new family addition! Just fix our kitty and let us be a family sicko!)Strike two: as we were mostly only going in for the vaccinations, so it made me furious that part of the immunisation ended up at the table with a comment ‘oh he would be fine’. Would he? What’s the point of dosage then?Strike three: CANCER! I brought our 8yo whippet in with a tumour we found on his paw. The vet insisted that he needs to stick needle in to see if it is a cyst and try to a squeeze it out. After this, the Vet insisted I book surgery for first thing on Monday. No samples have been taken. At this point, I knew I don’t trust the care.(Luckily, I have walked out asap and book another Vet medical centre the very next day. They collected samples with needle for biopsy. Results came back within 12hrs. They refused to operate based on the biopsy and said it’s beyond their expertise of a GP Vet. Referred us to the best oncologist. Our whippet has an aggressive cancer now awaiting senior oncology surgeon to operate. )Not to mention the fat shaming of their receptionist!Terrible, avoid and go elsewhere. I can’t imagine what would happen to our whippet should I let him in these guys care!

Would not go here. The vet was very condescending and unprofessional and wouldn't let me express my concerns. Went to a new vet yesterday and was shocked at the lack of routine exams that were not performed at Brighton veterinary hospital. We brought our big dog in, were forced to pick him up and place him on this wobbly old table. Reception staff were lovely but it was a waste of time and money going here - they missed everything another vet was able to identify over the phone. Very disappointed, just glad I had enough sense to trust my gut and ask for a second opinion!

Lovely vet clinic. Happy to recommend. Experienced and competent vets, appointments are usually available without too much of a wait, decent facilities, pleasant and helpful support staff, reasonable pricing.

this vet killed our cat. i would not take your pet there if you love them.her name was ruby. she was a british shorthair; they tend to be docile and greedy but she became way too docile. she lost a lost of weight extremely fast while still eating and they only took bloods. This vet, as many other reviews mention appear to be hungry for money - not surprising in Brighton. They pumped her up with expensive insulin vials though simply disregarding foaming of the mouth which is not a sign of diabetes amongst other factors. They decided to take x-rays just a few days before she died.this vet killed our cat. i would not take your pet there if you love them.her name was ruby. she was a british shorthair; they tend to be docile and greedy but she became way too docile. she lost a lost of weight extremely fast while still eating and they only took bloods. This vet, as many other reviews mention appear to be hungry for money - not surprising in Brighton. Absolutely unprofessional! The vet was an old man, seem pretty nice at first but absolutely lack of any understanding or what so ever. I ask him do you know maxi puppy dog food, he don’t know and ignores me. Later on he even ask me what is the price of my dog, I mean, is this even relevant? Or are you just trying to figure out how much money I can afford? This hospital used to be a heaven for dogs, now with that vet, hell! Besides the price? Ridiculously charged, with what they can offer.
