Reef 2 Beach Surf Shop

Incredible value for money surf lesson. Instructors were very friendly and helpful, and the lesson was great fun. If you're in the area I highly recommend checking it out, for only $17 you get 3 hours of tuition with everything included. They even have an on site photographer and you can purchase photos of yourself for $5 each, or $20 for as many as you like! Only gripe is that we were instructed to stay away from the flags and be aware of the drift towards them. We were all supposed to line up in front of instructors and go one at a time to surf. Because of the drift, the lines were carried way out towards the flags and became clumps and the instructors did little to nothing to sort it out. They even made the situation worse by only asking people forward that had drifted off course and if ignoring surfers starting to queue directly in front of them.

I called in to inform myself if they do hourly surf board rentals, but the guy on the phone wasn't very nice and just told me to go to the shop to get sorted out. When I got to the shop the lady told me they don't do such rentals. She was nice though. Just a recommendation to change the number to a more helpful person or for the guy to work on his customer service skills!

The staff are super cool, not only explain you clear but also help you every time. The best part: they are chilled and give you such cool vibes, it’s impossible not to have fun. Plus: we got a very cheap deal for 3 hours surfing. Def recommended.

JD is just awesome and so was his crew. They did the best job so that everyone had a really fun time.For 25$ you get a super cool beginners lesson and you will manage to stand on the board.The group was a bit big though (about 20 people) which made it a bit difficult to get feedback.But overall I think you should book a lesson - definitely worth it! And don't forget to swing by their shop as well. They have awesome stuff.

We had an amazing day. Really great beach to learn to surf at. All the instructors were awesome and we got lots of waves in. Really good value for money. The photographer they have took some really amazing photos of each of us. Overall I highly recommend this Surf School!

We loved our surfing lesson with Reef 2 Beach Surf. We were able to do so much after this first ever surf lesson! The instructors were amazing, we had a terrific time. It is the best value for money in Queensland.

We had a great time! Nice beach, easy waves to learn it in Agnes Water, family friendly.The instructor J.D. was great, chilled, patient - just in a good mood. The other instructor was very young and not so helpful.But it is a very good price (25 $ for 3 hours!) and we had a lot of fun. We can highly recommend this place!

Wow. What a experience we had. Hired a surfboard for 24 hours at a incredibly cheap price. The man serving us was so nice and very good to talk to. Amazing experience.

An absolute must do in Agnes Water! Had such a blast even though we were beginners. $17 well spent on a fun day catching waves. Everyone on staff was super friendly, nice, and positive. Couldn’t recommend the surf school enough! They also give out discount meal vouchers after the class, perfect for backpackers. Thanks Grom and team!

We had a perfect day! The instructors were really clear with the information and really really sweet. They looked after everyone very well, and we felt totally save. Absolute a 10! I would recommend everyone to go with this company!
