I recently visited the Michael Hill store in Carindale, and once again, I was blown away by their exceptional level of service. I was looking to buy something special for my wife, but I was lost and unsure of what to get. The staff members were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, and they went out of their way to assist me in finding the perfect piece of jewelry. Their expertise and attentiveness made my shopping experience a breeze.I have been shopping at this store since I purchased my wife's engagement ring in 2005, and I have always been impressed with the quality of their jewelry and the service they provide. The pieces are stunning and well-crafted, and they have a wide variety of styles to choose from. I appreciate that they use high-quality materials and pay attention to the details, ensuring that each piece is unique and of the highest quality.The staff members at Michael Hill are commendable, always going above and beyond to assist their customers. Excellent customer service in store by Tracey this morning! Assisted with the purchase of a ring with a unique split payment and handled as though no trouble at all. Great advice on after care for my purchase. Great quality item at a reasonably affordable price. Very happy with my purchase

I shopped there last week before Christmas. I was looked after by Courtney who's customer service was exceptional. I would have no hesitation in coming back to this store. Great work

I bought a ring for my daughter for her birthday. The ring didn't fit my finger so I asked if the ring came in other sizes, I was told no. I was then told by the salesperson about their jewellery care plan which included free ring sizing for the number of years of the care plan. This care plan was for an extra cost so I purchased a 3 year plan, a free resizing every year for 3 years. Today, two days after purchasing the ring and care plan we went into the store to have the ring resized only to be told that it would be at an extra cost! What about the care plan? Well, in this case the care plan is worthless because they will only resize this ring for free to two sizes. The salespeople at the store were quick to point out that this was clear in the care plan, it is not and I feel misled. This morning the staff took no responsibility for information provided to me, it was all my fault apparently. If the salesperson had advised at the time that there were constraints/limitations to these supposed free ring resizing I would have at least been an informed buyer. Instead I bought in good faith and now have to fork out more money. This has been the worst customer service experience I have ever had at a Michael Hill or any jewellery store for that matter.

If you’re looking at these reviews to decide whether or not to purchase from Micheal Hill this is your sign NOT to! We purchased an engagement ring from Micheal Hill 3 years ago now and have since found out the the metal is faulty which has lead to my diamonds constantly falling out. They can’t replace my ring as they no longer make this style and are refusing me a refund. Rachel (store manager) and Tracey (Assistant store manager) are extremely unprofessional and Matt the regional manager is extremely unhelpful and unprofessional himself. Put in a complaint and he will lie and close your case just so he doesn’t have to deal with it. Please stay clear of MH

I went in over the weekend (Saturday) to have my engagement ring looked over so that I can keep up my lifetime diamond warranty & the lady that served me was extremely rude. Her response to me asking if it could be done was an eye roll & the words “well we actually do prefer to do these during the week, because weekends are our busy time. But sure.”— (There was 2 people in the shop) . She then went out of her way & belittled me when I said that I never got the care plan & that I didn’t feel I need It.-after all of that, it only took her less than 2 minutes to actually check my ring & sign the paper.-after such great service a few months prior when trying on the rings & purchasing. To this. Really disappointing. I guess they only care about you when you’re spending money in there.

Absolutely disgusting behaviour from your staff members (young bloke with a moustache and middle age women with long black hair).Asked a simple question and pretty much got laughed at with rude / sarcastic reply. I couldn’t believe it and felt awkward so I left the store. I could even hear them talking about it while I was leaving which made things even more awkward for me.I was gonna buy my engagement ring from Michael Hill as I’ve always had a good experience in the past and have purchased multiple items from this store and around Australia but this have truely put me off.Horrible experience

I visited this store the other day and I have never been so insulted before. I went in to have a look at engagement rings like I have done at other Michael Hill stores and the women behind the counter wouldn’t let me even try them on because I didn’t have my id on me. I have never been asked for id to try on a ring!! I’m heavily pregnant so it wasn’t like I was going to be running away with it very fast and then I asked about the price and she practically the price of it if I didn’t buy it that week. I will not be returning!

Never was more insulted. X***an, was extremely rude when I refused to pay for ring resize which is completely unfair so I wasn’t advised on extra costs for it, completely bad faith. I was with my baby and felt disrespected in many ways.
