The Drip walking track
Super nice and easy walk. It can be quite boring if you end up at the rock however if you drop your shoes and continue walking along the river it makes for an awesome feet massage and some incredible views of rock formations, wildlife and nature.Great spot to relax if you are in the are, definitely better than the mining ugliness around the roads!

The Drip walking track
A nice easy short walk (even though rated as moderate grade 3), that is relatively flat. It was advertised in brochures and blogs as a great place to visit. Unfortunately, the stars were not aligned when we went as the sky was overcast and there was not enough water. There is a fake “white hands” cave along the way. The walk along the river was pretty enough and I can see the potential wow factor if the light was better. Maybe I’ll try again after a period of rain.

Whilst we were on holidays at Bathurst we took a drive to the Drip Gorge as we had read good reviews. What a great spot, easy walk, a few stairs but overall a pleasant walk. The water was so refreshing to sit in & cool down on a hot summers day.Half way along the track we were met by 10 very large oversized white industrial bags that also had graffiti-like tags on them. What an eyesore amongst nature..Not the best look for a National Park & the many tourists who visit & walk the track.Overall, we had a beautiful bush walk.

Some tricky bits but overall had defined paths. Well worth the trek.

This is okay, nothing too great. But if you have a couple of hours to kill in Mudgee, then this is a good option.

The Drip walking track
A short hike on a well maintained path with interesting geological and geographical features to draw the eye. Water was a little low but still nice to get your feet wet.

Every visit to the Mudgee area means another chance to walk this lovely track. Beautiful. Peaceful. An occasional lyre bird sighting. Whoever carved out the stone steps at various points on the journey is a saint.

Must see if your in the Mudgee region. Worth the 30 minute drive out of town. It’s a relatively short walk and really easy. Flat most of the way. It will take longer than expected though because you will stop a lot along the way to enjoy the scenery.

Much easier than the grade 4 advised. Make sure you only leave footprints and take photos. Amazing spot.

The Drip walking track
An interesting track with lots of nice rock features and a shallow river running through it. Wildflowers in bloom make the track more colourful too. The rock textures are beautiful, with a range of colours and layers. Unfortunately, The Drip was a bit dry and wasn't as impressive as I imagine it would be after a lot of rain. Still a nice and pleasant covered walk, short in distance though parts of the track can be a bit rough.
